This company cares about who you match clients with and It's not often you'll find a home-care company that cares about that. They don't send any available employee, they take the time to consider the client and caregivers comparability. Above and beyond.

Hello,I want to share my story.My name is charlye I am a young single mother looking for work I look after my children on my own and support them on my own. I’ve had just finished my health care aide . I still have to go back for the last week of practicum, and I was looking forward to having a job.So applied for tons of jobs and once I gotten the interview for comfort of homes. I then turned down job offers, because I wanted to work at comfort of homes because it’s the ideal job for a mom with young children.Then they told me congratulations on the job, so I thought I got the job, I went to the orientation from 9-12, they told me it was 9-12 and I even paid a baby sitter 50$ for those 3 unpaid orientation hours.And Which I made plans for 1 pm to be somewhere else at that time .At the end of the orientation I wanted to ask questions, but one of the lady’s beside me wouldn’t stop talking and never gave me a chance to speak. They wouldn’t take turns, answering questions I found it unorganized.So I told the lady I had an appointment at 1pm. So I left at 12:15 didn’t wanna be late . As I had to pick up my children. Because as I’m unemployed I didn’t wanna pay my baby sitter any longer, but if they would’ve told me that it was longer than 12 I would’ve paid a longer sitter and cancelled my appointment. So as I was going back. Because to show all my paper work, and I even had to buy a new criminal record check, child and adult check with my own money when I just had one done !! I spent 90$ on it. And they call me back to tell me that they can’t hire me instead. After wasting my time and giving me an employee book and everything. Something is a little odd ! I don’t know if it was because I was aboriginal. I’m gonna speak up for my self about this place I’m going to speak to the news soon about what has happened too me.

Mom and I are very happy with the services provided. Coordinator is very efficient and accesible when there are last minute changes in schedule. The CGs are the best, especially Jasmin. I highly recommend Comforts of Home!

Comforts of Home-Care provided excellent care and companionship for my father when he was in a seniors home. He looked forward the weekly visits and the caregiver discussed any problems he saw in my father's health with the nursing staff. I would highly recommend them for your family.

We've used the caregiver services provided by COHC since 2008. We've been fortunate to have had the same caregiver this whole time. She has become like family to us and our mother. Her hard work has greatly improved our mothers quality of life and also provided us with added assurance being present on a regular basis when we cannot be there. Highly recommend their services!

Prompt and caring! They were so helpful with my mom when we really needed it. I couldn't ask for better service. The caregivers were exceptional.
