My wife and I went to the Grand Opening of the new City Hall. What a fantastic place to be. Great to see that they kept the character of the old Post Office, added some modern touches and everything looked awesome. The fun times continued with events at Harmony Square with popcorn and candy-floss, and back packs for kids. Great job to the Brantford Team for organization. Everyone self distanced and very friendly staff. Protesters were there and given the opportunity to be heard. While some of the comments made were not accurate, the truth was presented to them in calm manner and everyone had their voice. Great job by everyone shout out to Mayor Kevin Davis and his team for a great event. Thank you.

It was Fantastic. We had a tour from Mayor Kevin Davis and he has so much knowledge of everything that was put into the building as well as the people that work there. I can't thank him enough. It's an unbelievably beautiful building. As someone that's lived in Branford most of my life it's thrilling to see an old landmark building being used for this purpose. Incredible to see that they kept the integrity of the building but brought it into this century using eco friendly technology. If you have an opportunity please go visit . You won't be disappointed

Well you would think the security guard they hire would be more welcoming since it is City Hall and it is there to service the cities tax paying residents. My senior father and I were greeted with a miserable robot.

I am really struggling with he fact that I have to go to Hamilton to take my kid for a public swim because brantford has had their pools closed to families for over a year now. I do not understand why we can't use the same safe method Hamilton is using to allow people to swim with their kids again. Their is no information on when this will be resolved, the Gretzky centre is completely oblivious to what the next steps should be so that tax payers can once again use their facility. It's been over a year and Hamilton has had their pools open after every lockdown for months. The cases are down, can the city start acting like it.

Fees, fees, fees!!! $15 fee for requesting a statement of my property taxes. Last time I checked the many taxes I pay already goes to paying city employees salary. Soon we’ll be charged a fee to enter city hall?!

Received a parking ticket while supporting a locally owned and operated restaurant. I enjoy supporting the downtown but this trip was costly. Spent 30 min in a 15 that was grouped in with 2h parking. Easy mistake while getting the family out of the car. Several spots on either side of me were open and available. I won't be back to risk another ticket.

24 hrs after a snowfall to plow the streets??? Bhahahaha. Ya right!!! Called a city council person to get an answer why and they cant an answer either.. Called city hall they told me that they would be here by 8pm. Nice to see our tax dollars hard at work and some residential areas have been done twice already. LETS GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!

... I would put a good review but city hall in brantford can deal with putting in a new water tower.......... but can't adress the elephant in the room deal with the bus routes no one wants to go to work almost an hour early everyday legit I would rather spend that hour with my family ....... and why are they not dealing the homeless problem... No one wants to see needles on the ground , people walking around with shopping carts and junkies sitting on the side walk nodding off with intervenus needles hanging out of there arm in the core of this town right across the street from (city hall) which they put right across the street from the main problem tim hortons on dalhousie Street in brantford..... its pretty sad to see maybe put in more programs and more shelters for these people stop ignoring the problems in this town ....please do us a favor and do better brantford city hall...
