You absolutely cannot go wrong with staying here. Everything about this guesthouse is great! The location is central and everything in Lion's Head is within a 10 minute walk. The place is lovely, clean, and very well-equipped and the owners are lovely. It's the perfect place to unplug and enjoy a nice holiday!

This was our first visit to the Bruce Peninsula and we decided to stay at Lionheart B&B for 2 nights as our goal was to start our trip with a hike of the Lion's Head park.The property is very centrally located and within walking distance of 4 restaurants (not all were open during our stay), a Foodland supermarket, a library and the marina. The Far East room that we booked was very clean and just as described. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast very good as well and served right at 8AM! The property overlooks a nice garden and one can sit in a Muskoka chair to have their drink while enjoying the greenery or at a small table in front of the room.It will be nice if the owners consider putting a small fridge in the rooms in case you need to buy a drink or something else that needs to be consumed cold and/or fresh.I certainly recommend this property and would love to return if staying in the area.

This place has potential for so much more!The place itself is decent but we were not impressed with the hospitallity at all, which in my opinion, if you stay at a B&B that should be high on their priority list!The owners live above your room, which is whatever, but as another review says about this place, you get treated like children then, instead of professionals.The breakfast was ok but not everything was very fresh. The worst part is you have to have it at 8am and you are wakened up before that already to the noise of them making it so its a toss-up whether it's worth it or not. Certainly not worth it if you want to sleep in.

Somewhat confusing guesthouse room/ house rental/ separate B&B room options not helped or explained by the proprietor in our emails or call prior. As a result we ended up paying only $10 less but getting a small room (not ensuite), no breakfast and had to pay extra for the hot tub. Not great value and not what we expected. We arrived and the proprietor promptly left. We checked in with a poor girl who knew little about the area or the guest house itself. Clean place and nice garden, but our experience was disappointing overall.

The owners are extremely generous, kind and responsive. I got stung by a wasp and they gave me an ice pack to use. Accommodated dietary needs. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The grounds are beautifully maintained with flowers and flowering bushes. Right next to the beach and downtown. Highly recommend staying there .

I had a wonderful stay at Lionheart B and B. Doug and Marlene were great hosts. The property is amazingly beautiful and immaculate. I stayed in the West Indies room and it was very clean and perfect for my week long hiking trip. Stayed here for 5 nights while hiking the Bruce Trail. Every days hike started off with a wonderful breakfast. Doug was very accommodating with a shuttle every morning to the start of my hike. Doug provided a wealth of information about the Bruce Trail, which in turn made my hikes that much more enjoyable. You can't go wrong staying here the location is perfect and the town is very nice. Overall 5 Stars for sure.

This guest house is stunningly beautiful and well-kept. It has an character with well-thought of antiques and decor. Very clean and in a great location in Lion's head town.

Great accommodations, clean, and the best host! Our original accommodations were cancelled and Lionheart Guest House took us in. The house is absolutely beautiful- well-made and well-maintained. We were in the West room and it was large, quiet, and comfortable. We would come back in a heart beat!

Well, this was the second time we had stayed here and let me tell you, we will never return again. Immediately when arriving both hosts were not wearing a mask especially with what is going on currently. After we were invited in to pay for our weekend stay 1 host attempted to put a mask on and the other female host had no mask the entire weekend, dealing with customers each day.Second, we were harassed the whole weekend about noise. We had another couple join us and they were pretty much drilled about keeping it down and making sure we shut down by 11pm the minute they had checked in, or they were going to come down to make sure us 45 years old's were quiet. We didn't need a lecture about this as I'm pretty sure we all have respect for others staying there. How does one have a nice time away when you are constantly reminded to keep it down? The next day they apparently said our neighbor was complaining about the noise so we had asked neighbor who was really nice to be sure we weren't too loud the night before. In speaking with them they said they heard nothing and that we were fine. So, the owner lied to us?!?!?Third, there was a designated smoking area in which we knew nothing about until the next day. They left a note saying to not smoke outside your room, smoking is permitted outside by the shed (10 feet from our room, which I don't see the difference really). After we read the note and it was understood, they mentioned it again??? We get it, we are not stupid, stop trying to treat us like children. We are middle aged professionals, we get it!?!?!!?Fourth, the noise from the staff being up at 6am while we were trying to sleep was ridiculous!!! Stomping, closing of doors and cupboards went on for over 2 hours!?!?!?!? I understand you serve breakfast but don't complain to us about the little noise we made if your doing the same damn thing! Period!And fifth, the breakfast was terrible, most of the food was microwaved, we know this because we could hear it right out side our door when it was being prepped!!!! Beeping all morning!!!!Combined we had brought in almost $800 for this business, they were rude, annoying and had very little regard for our well being and were more interested in making money from us. We will never stay there again, and being in the media as a professional, you can bet we will ensure ALL of our friends and family know this!!!!!

Lionheart Guest Home is a great choice for accommodations if you're looking to tour the Tobermory area as it's only 35 minutes away.The landscaping and grounds were beautifully kept, the house (built in the 1800s) is in great condition and the prices were reasonable.The only downside is that Room 4 (I can't speak to the others) had pretty poor air circulation. I visited in late August and the room was hotter than it was outside. I think a stronger ceiling fan could fix this.Other than that, great experience and I would come back again.
