Sheppard's Bush
Well maintained soccer fields with some excellent pathways to walk and enjoy. There is a multipurpose field for football, lacrosse and soccer which is pretty impressive. The field is nice, but I'd recommend bringing your own chairs to watch on the smaller fields as there aren't bleechers.

I love this place with tall trees. It gives me feeling in the middle of forest. Comfortable walk pass. I will come back to finish other routes.

Been here a few times. The scenery in falls are beautiful. The trails in the forest are pretty short, but there are a few connected trails. Well marked, not very busy at this time of the year. A very pleasant walk.

A small little Trail within the city. You could see buildings and Warehouse right nearby. It probably would look nicer in the summer when all the leaves are on the trees and there is more privacy walking throughout. And winter with the leaves all down you can see straight to the city or buildings nearby. The pathway was quite icy so good boots are recommended. You can walk around the path as most of the area is very flat. There were families and people with dogs mostly walking.

This is a refreshing place for a hike without having to drive too far. The paths are well-maintained with a variety of shade vs. Sunny parts. We also liked the trail art that made us smile along the way. I'm just giving it a 4/5 though because poison ivy is overtaking the fitness stations along the trail, and the gypsy moth situation is nuts (like everywhere) this year.

Part of the Oak Ridges Moraine & trail located in Aurora-kid & pet friendly with ample parking-ideal for that relaxing stroll through the woods with varied foot paths- it’s not one of the most challenging trails of the Oak Ridges Moraine however, perfect when you’re in the area with family, friends or a beginner hiker:)FYI: Walker Woods absolutely breathtaking, particularly in the fall & excellent for trail or hill running.

Mid July 2022 weekend. The bush forest is not high but the are multiple trails among the land while some are not accessible for habitat rejenvation. It leads to Tim Jones and Wehrenberg trails. The best time should be sunny day afternoon with sun above head. There is a less mosquito. Repellant is recommended anyway.

Decent place to go. Can get really cold in the places with dense canopy, was here for the colors of the fall which I did get a plenty of. There are picnic tables, buildings from 1920s and they offer tours from Monday to Friday.Readily accessible through Aurora Go ( in case you are travelling from far away). In case you want, you can bring your dogs for a walk. There are multiple trails that connect with one another, so plenty to do.
