Seven Shores
I'm so happy we have Seven Shores café in our uptown! It has the most beautiful interior that smells of wood, in addition to the aroma of delicious coffee and food. The staff is friendly, there are plenty of comfortable seating options, the music selection is absolutely lovely, the coffee and scones are delicious. The displayed art also looks great on the walls, and they have an incredible variety of items on the menu. Don't miss their cardamom latte or the lavender blueberry scone! My lavender latte did not taste like lavender, so I'm not sure I would recommend that.Seven Shores is the perfect spot for a nice breakfast with friends or just working with a laptop. I love, love, love Seven Shores and will definitely be back many more times!

So glad we came here! We arrived on Sunday morning around 10am and it was a full house. We were a bit confused at first if we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves, (a sign would be helpful up front to notify new customers to seat themselves). There's plenty of tables and a decent selection of breakfast items and baked goods.I had the breakfast burrito which was sooo good! Quality tortilla, egg, aged cheddar, and roasted red peppers, toasted to a nice crisp. I had it without the ham and was a tad annoyed that they made me pay extra to sub avocado instead of the ham. It also comes with salsa and sour cream. A really filling breakfast!We also tried the banana chocolate chip scone which was okay. I'll definitely go back for the burrito.Also appreciated the all gender bathrooms and the overall aesthetic of the space, airy, friendly, cozy.

Visiting from out of town and went here on family recommendation and really really enjoyed it. We each got something different- an omelet, a wrap, and a breakfast sandwich- and they were all really good. I had a medium roast drip coffee that was very good- flavourful and not bitter. The place is popular so you may have to wait for a place to sit. There’s a cute corner for little ones to entertain themselves playing with a toy kitchen. We’ll come back when we’re in the area!

My daughter and I recently visited for breakfast and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was incredible. We both had bagels with our meals and they were clearly handmade and so light and delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the two different cookies we tried (ginger cookie and sunflower butter m&m cookie) were some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back many times!

The space is bright and lively, great for breakfast/lunch with family and friends. The tables were more crowded than I would’ve preferred, but I understand the limited spacing. Loved that there was a free coffee refill tho.

The staff here are so sweet. My friend and I are both vegetarian and we don’t eat ham, and I accidentally ordered the breakfast burrito, which has ham in it. I forgot to ask them to take it out, and they were so kind and redid both of them at no extra charge. Such sweet employees and amazing food! Definitely recommend

This is a cooperatively run restaurant, owned by several families. They care about the food they serve, the way they serve it and the space. All is excellent. The outside area where we ate is creatively laid out with tables and umbrellas set among trees. You order your food inside and they bring it to you. Staff are friendly and the food is excellent! Will certainly return.

The food and service there were the best. Coffee is my style. But it's a little noisy. But I'll visit again
