Not sure why there are any bad reviews of this plumbing service. I have used them about four times now for four separate completely unrelated issues and they have been nothing but a please to work with. The lady that answers the phone is responsive and clearly knows this industry well – I believe her name is Christiane.. Most recently the element in my water heater was done and when I called her she told me she would try to have someone for the next day but no promises as they were already booked so most likely the plumber will come the day after. Well the plumber showed up the next day to my pleasant surprise. Each time the plumbers that came were professional and courteous and did exactly the job. Nothing more, nothing less. They came and did exactly what I was expecting them to do. Did not give me the run around about how I need this extra thing done or they have to go order a piece or whatever else. Of course they gave suggestions but told me that whenever I was ready to call them and they would come again. Thank you Farkas Plumbing for making my life a little easier.

Incredible scam! Plumber John has spent 8 hrs replacing a pipe under the bathroom sink! Was able to get back only 2 hrs, still paid 6 hrs for a bathroom sink repair. The maximum time for this job would be 2-3 hrs max. Another plumbing company confirmed that this is incredible to spend 8 hrs on a sink job.

David came and replaced my water heater recently. During a bad week of snowstorms and traffic, he did his best to arrive asap. He was professional and meticulous about safety details which was greatly appreciated. Pricing is competitive to other plumbers. Would highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience with Farkas Plumbing. My kids blocked the toilet ( don't they always) and I just called the first company on the list and hoped for the best. Tony arrived 2 hours later and did what he had to do in a clean and efficient manner. The bill was also less than what I would have expected. So if ever you are in the (unfortunate) position of needing a plumber, you know who to call :-)

I didn't know this company and I only choose it based on the good google rate! So, to avoid the same mistake I will share my experience! You should know that they are not at all responsible for the job that they are doing! They are saying our job has one year guarantee, but they even don't support for 24h and they ask you to pay again for fixing the job that they didn't do it correctly! The guy wanted to unblock the drain and he said he needs to do some modification on pipes but might leak after which I will fix! I told him I don't mind as long as you fix it after! Just the day after he left, I noticed very small leak and call them and saying is actually leaking from the spot that you were expecting! They didn't accept because the leak was very small and was not showing at the time that the guy was still there and saying they will only come if I pay again!!! The woman on the phone telling me I should call another company to fix “their job” and hang up the phone on me!! Thanks God I didn't do a major project with them. So be very careful because they are not responsible at all! They talk to you like they are doing a favor to do a work for you not to mentioned I paid 350$ for a work less than 2 hours and adding a small piece of pipe! They didn't even provide a receipt to show me for what I paid for!!

Prompt and quality service, reasonable price and courteous attitude!We had Tony as a plumber and we are completely satisfied.Definitely we recommend Farkas Plumbing, no hesitation!

I never write a reviews but I had to in this case because I have also never experienced this level of my service.The Farkas owners need to know that their service representative named Christiane Marchand is totally unprofessional and gives their company a terrible reputation due to her unprofessional and unresponsive behavior.I registered online with Home Depot to have Farkas install my electric heater. They were suppose to call me back in 24 hours with an estimate but it took her 8 days to contact me. When she did she was full of excuses on how the Home Depot system was the reason she was late. Despite that, We spoke and she asked me for my contact information and sent me an email. Normally there is a form to fill out or some type of process to follow but her email only asked me if I had already purchased the electric heater (which we had already made clear in our conversation).I responded to her email asking her what the next steps were, hoping she would send me an installation date or even a form to fill out. 2 weeks went by without a response. Finally I called and left a message asking if they were still in business.That’s was the trick because she called me back the same day, very annoyed, with a lot of attitude and was rude on the phone. She told me that for my information they were in business and blamed the long wait for a response on the fact that I didn’t answer her email question on if I already purchased my electric heater. I told her that I answered her email and that whatever the case it does not explain why it took so long for her to respond to my email.She then told me to “find someone else to do the job” and hung up the phone on me.I am reporting her and this company to Home Depot Canada. Because if this is who they have installing the Home Depot equipment, the Home Depot stock price is definitely going to fall.Save yourself the headache and stay away from Christiane Marchand and Farkas.

Service was professional and clean. The only unanticipated surprise was that they sent 2 plumbers which cost me a lot more for a minor fix. Advice, make sure you know the labor cost ahead of time to avoid bad surprises.

Called in friday PM for a plumber.Receptionnist is extremely professional, likable and knowledgeable.Told me she'd send a plumber as soon as monday (72 hours later)Plumber called in monday morning 9:00 PM, asked a few questions and said he'd be there in 15.He arrived within 15 minutes.Tony came in, well dressed, clean, professionnal and incredibly funny.Asked a few questions to assess the problem, checked and the problem was exactly as he thought.Asked questions along the way to make sure nothing unwanted was done. Explained eveyrthing he was doing.If I could give a better rating I would.Will give references and a good word every chance I get.

These people are to be highly recommended. Honest in all their dealings, and really straightforward when it comes to giving you options. My experiences more than one was that i knew someone was not going to drain my bank account, that they were really going to solve my problem, and they did that professionally and effectively.. Highly reccommend these hard working people
