Super course. Total attention to detail - lovely homemade lunch, well stocked fridge full of pop/water, great instruction.....everyone left with a beautiful knife. Just a fun day. Highly reccomend!

An amazing experience! The whole day was fantastic. The instructors are very good at what they do, friendly, and just a joy to be around. As for lunch, it was a home cooked meal, and wat better than most places I've eaten in Red Deer, I'd go here just for the lunch!They said I'd make myself the nicest knife I own, they were right!worth every penny, I will be back.Thank you!!

What an excellent day this was for me and my two grandsons. Nick and Julia led us through all steps of knife-making and were there to step in if we needed a helping hand. Short lessons preceeded every step of the process, from metallurgy to temporing steel, to sharpening and making a handle from a selection of fine hardwoods. All this plus lunch and refreshments. I highly recommend this day.

This is truly a great experience!! Thoroughly enjoyed the day and was very surprised with how the end product turned out (incredible), but that's thanks in huge part to the crew at Twisted Steel. Their process, assistance and coaching is the difference. There was not one amateur looking knife in our group at the end of the day! My partner and I made a 8 hour trek for this course, and it was worth every second. Julia was our fantastic teacher. Her knowledge behind it all is truly remarkable. Nick, Shelley and their team make this something you will truly never forget. A full day with everything included….coffee, drinks, incredible lunch, cookies. Super convenient. We had a very enjoyable day , I personally created a Bowie knife. The quality and the final product far exceeded my expectations.The instruction and the facilities including equipment were exceptional. Our home made lunch was first rate. Excellent experience highly recommended.

I wanted to do something cool with my 3 grown sons. Something they'd never done before. Found Nick on the socials and invited another friend and his son to make it a group size event. Everyone was amazed at the progress from a seemingly pointless piece of steel to a relative heirloom piece in just one day. Nick and Julia were amazing, not only with their guidance and expertise but they're just all around great people. It was a real special thing to share with my boys. If you're on the fence, jump off!
