The Rock

Looking for a challenge intertwined with granite boulders running through the fairways? The Rock has it all and an amazing clubhouse as well which has great food and entertainment on Sundays. We always stay at the Clevlands House and purchase the stay and play which is good value. If you are on the Rock's mailing list you will receive an offer in December for a foursome with cart for $200 .. this is a great add on to the stay and play and provides awesome value for 2 days of golf.

Didn't try the course but I did order take out from the restaurant. I had the grilled maple chicken wrap with side salad. The wrap was hot and juicy, and the salad fresh. Love the house dressing too! It smelled so good, I chowed down on the first half of the wrap before taking a picture! lol Friendly staff. I will eat here again!

Beautiful course and clubhouse. I may be a worse golfer than I think but I found the fairways skinny and had to leave my big stick in the bag, leaning me many long irons to the small greens. But wow it's it beautiful.

Great course with extremely unprofessional staff. While sitting and eating breakfast with my group of 8, staff came up and accused myself of stealing a ball maker. 15 minutes another individual came and told myself if I did not give her the ball marker she would call the police. This is after I had just spent $150 on the round and $40 for breakfast. I had to empty my pockets and was completely embarrassed in front of my friends.As I mentioned great course and fantastic condition - but would recommend playing taboo or another course where the staff are professional and treat you well.

Very nice golf course. Extremely challenging but course is in great condition. Greens are very fast, almost to the point of being unfair. However, for the price of $85 getting a round, cart and dinner is worth it.

Beautiful spot well kept and very challenging

Tough course but absolutely beautiful and really fun holes on this course. Kept in the best condition you can find. This is the course we will always play when you in the Muskoka area! Great food after too.

Excellent course, service and clubhouse. A true gem in the Muskoka's, The Rock is challenging yet fun for golfers of all skill levels. At 6,150 yards playing from the gold's will present a challenge. For more of a test the blacks play longer. Accuracy is key as the course is carved out of the Canadian Shield and a miss hit to the rocks can send you ball flying in a direction you weren't intending. The tee blocks, fairways and greens are in excellent condition. The clubhouse is very nice with friendly and fast staff waiting to help. The turn house offers items on the BBQ for a quick bite without having to go into the club house. Great location. It is directly across the street from the Marriott. Highly recommend.

Extremely slow round of golf, front of house pro shop and back shop are poorly organized. They allowed a fivesome to play on a busy Sunday afternoon. Drink cart came on the second and 18th hole. I’d fire the GM if I was the board managing the club.

Course was in mint condition - excellent use of the unique geography. A bit of a ridiculous layout - good shots are not always rewarded, especially around the greens.The staff at the clubhouse seemed completely confused trying to send us out - and the $5 to use the range before your round is pretty chintzy given the green fee rate.
