Kitwanga River RV Campground

Wonderful staff, good wifi, pet friendly best part of all was their cute dog.

Stayed for camping which has three spots on a grassy field dedicated to it. The camping spots are shaded from the sun by a treed hill on the south edge. Two friendly dogs patrol and play the grounds. Very serene location.

This campground is wonderful. The owner Scott is such a good guy. We had to have repairs made to our truck so we were here 10 days because of that. They were so nice and helpful I just can’t say enough nice things about this place.

It was a pleasure to come to this RV park with wi-fi and full services after traveling down the Cassair Highway. The sites were level and not too cramped - though they weren't busy so it might feel more cramped if they were full. We enjoyed the quiet and a fire in the evening. Bathrooms were updated and clean. Laundry was available, but we didn't use the facilities.

Very kind genuine people run this campground. This place is a diamond of the north and worthwhile to stop by. Very clean and tidy place to stay. I stayed here while working away from home. The owners are friendly and accommodating. They have serviced campsites and wifi as well.

Great place to stay, we paid $35 per night. facilities are clean and owners are nice. Have your dog on leash, cause there are a lot dogs around. You need $1 for shower and it gives you 2 and half min. FYI - Showers are only for registered quests.

Stayed two nights in our fifth wheel in a pull-thru FHU site. We thought the price ($55) was a bit high. Pads are gravel with grassy living area. Pull-thrus are very long, but not very wide. Free fire wood, but because of the narrow sites we didn’t have a fire for fear of heat damage to a rig or truck. Overall, a solid stop.

Was there in may 2019. Even with a completely full campground due to long Victoria-Day WE, they found me a nice spot on the site between the main site and the overflow. Later the young family members brought me a large fireplace, a pile of wood, and electricity, and they offered me to made a tour with an SSV to visit some places around where normally only the community has access. That was the top.In the evening an older lady even brought me a folding chair and a huge piece of cake :-). All that folk was more or less related to the owner family.What to say more... i felt very welcome on there, sad that i really haven't time to stay longer, but will come back there in my future travels over there.P.S. Sanitary was very clean, reception was full of information about the area. But the best guide are always the local first nation people.
