I have got most of my backpacking gear from them. Would recommend getting the Extreme branded ones. More expensive but still cheaper than other stores when on clearance. Staff are super friendly. Sometime dthe store is a little hazardous to get around, but that just means there's more clothes to look at!

The staff is awesome at this location. I lost a receipt and the staff took their time and assisted me. They went out of their way to help me. Anytime I have gone in to this location the staff has been warm, friendly and helpful. Great deals too!

Came to check on an online order, the status has been shipped but not ready for collect for a while! The cashier insist that they have emailed and called me, I said I didn't get any of those, and the order status just says shipped. I only came to the store because I am leaving the country. I wanted to return the item right away as it didn't work for me. She goes like oh the order is not found it is another animal for us" and gives me a customer service number

The staff are always friendly and the prices are really good. I would give it 5 stars but the small location means their selection is limited. They're worth checking out I'd yiu have time to bargain hunt but not great for one stop shopping.

I purchased a raincoat for a 6 month backpacking trip to Mexico. Wore the item maybe 5 times and the Velcro closures began to peel away. As I didn’t have the receipt and the item has Mountain Warehouse stamped on it I assumed an exchange would happen.The manager was helpful and found me a replacement raincoat in a different colour which I was fine with. I was impressed that the company stands behind their products. Walking to the cash register everything changed. The manager turned to me and said I hope you have your receipt? I did not as it was over 6 months ago. I was asked for an email receipt which I also did not have. Well then we won’t be able to exchange your item! Apparently I needed proof that my purchase wasn’t over a year ago. Sooooo….no, there is no one I can talk to above the manager. The helpful atmosphere changed abruptly.I was given a UK phone number and told to call them. After sending photos and explaining the problem I can NOW go and exchange the item, well hopefully,Poor customer service.

Great staff and really neat products. Only reason that its not a 5 star is that some products seem a bit over priced for the quality provided. But love coming here.

This review is mildly conflicted...overall I love the store, with the only caveat being its small size. Sales people were great. Prices were more reasonable (especially during sale season) than in similar (outdoorsy) stores. Selection was good. BUT the hiking shoes I got fell apart in under 2 months of what I would call light usage. I wore them when walking my dogs...no more than 2 hours per day in total, frequently over wet (dew-covered) grass. Waterproofing lost in the first 2 weeks. Rubbery layer over toes cracked and peeled in about a month - the material underneath seems suspiciously paper-like. Finally on one of the shoes the sole peeled about 1/4 of the way (section under the toes).

Went to Stone Road Mall, Guelph location to do an exchange today, and was treated very well by Assistant Manager Tanpreet. Mountain Warehouse has an excellent warranty plan and a seamless system for making an exchange. I was impressed with how Tanpreet handled it all and in very little time. I will go back! I'll let my friends know about this company and this location in particular. Thank you Tanpreet!

Prices are reasonable and have good discounts for their loyalty card. Service is good.

Incredibly helpful staff and great sales on outdoor equipment. I needed an 80L pack for a trip to the Yukon and the staff helped me pick out a bag that had all the featured I needed and was well within my price range. When I got up to the counter and scanned the bag, it was 30$ cheaper than what was on the tag! I also bought a great rain shell for about 70% off the regular price, and it's the best raincoat I've ever owned. I prefer to shop here over other outdoor stores like MEC and Atmosphere due to the great sales, friendly employees and quality items.
