Phoenix Cafe
This used to be our go to spot. Good food, great service. But recently with new employees the service level dropped considerably that we will not go back anymore. We will miss our fave dishes, but it's just not worth putting up with poor customer service.

Update May 2022:Went for dine-in for lunch on Victoria Day. The place was quite busy at the time. This time customers had the option to order via QR code. When ordering meals on mobile, it would not automatically add a drink so I needed to manually add it on myself. It was a bit of a hassle so I chose to order at the counter and pay with cash, however they didn't have enough change so I ended up paying with card.The wait for the order took around 15-20mins but it was a little after lunch time on a holiday so it is to be expected. The utensils this time were not as flimsy as last time so I was able to cut the meat without much difficulty. The food was good.-----------Went back in December 2021 for dine-in, at the time a bit busy for a weekday afternoon. The price for food ratio was reasonable (but it's a lot of rice bedding). Would be fine to have the meat cut into slices as I was having difficulty slicing the meat with a plastic knife (on a bed of rice).Staff were friendly and helpful, place was clean and placements of table allowed for room to move and clear path to walk through.

You may only have to visit once because it is a new location in Mississauga. Once is enough. There you have to find pay parking nearby. Paid for the parking. In the store, it is fast food operating concept but you still need to pay tips. As to the food, they are served with disposable containers and plastic cutlery. Food quality is just average or maybe just below average but price wise, they are on the high side for similar food stores in Mississauga. Therefore, what you are paying is not just for the food but the decorations. The most important for similar store is the HK style milk tea which I can find a better store in Mississauga. I can give only 3-star. Hopefully they would improve.

HK style cafe serving light snacks, heavy meals, and desserts. They serve in generous portions with disposable plates and cutleries. I believe this can be a great place to hang out with friends and families with young children. It is quite spacious with their 7 tables for 4-5 people and 5 tables of 2s. Kids would love their menu options, such as spaghetti, pork chops, and chicken steak. Not to forget the dessert menu of waffles and ice cream choices, my kids would love them. The location is close to the bus stop, and there is also a little playground nearby.4 stars to leaving a room to grow :)

It's more like self serviced restaurant but the tables were not clean. We cleaned it up by ourselves. The food we wanted to order was sold out. So we ordered someone else but it tastes good and the portion is big too.

Already been here for dinner and now here for breakfast. Love the hot milk tea and it comes with the meal during breakfast time. Bo loh bao sandwich is my favourite. Great cafe that reminds me of HK!

Came here with a friend. I liked the ideal quietness of the restaurant early in the morning. The menu was exciting because there was lots to choose from. We decided to get Satay Beef Noodle Soup. A little underwhelming in flavour and presentation, but it was filling and felt like a complete meal. The server was nice, and it’s just my preference to have a savoury meal for breakfast, but great news is this restaurant has many variations of it. Enjoyed the milk tea; it complemented the beef noodles to a T. The pictures on Google definitely sell the place, but in terms of meeting my expectations in person, it somewhat met it, but not surpassed it. Willing to try their other menu items in the near future.

Generous portions and prices are very reasonable. The satay beef noodle soup with HK milk tea combo for less than $10 was really good especially on a chilly day; equally enjoyed the hainanese chicken, which was such a comfort food especially with the broth that came with it on the side. We were eyeing other tables and what they ordered, and we will definitely be back for the casseroles, cutlets, and dessert waffles. Menu had so many options from snacks to drinks and desserts, it was hard to choose! Also loved the bright look of the place contrasted by the comfortable velour seating. Clean and inviting.
