The other A&N stores I've been to we're great but this New West store, not so great. Mike and Song from the fishing department could really use some people skills. They are very knowledgable, I'll give them that, but a smile goes a long long way.

When my husband and I started dating in 1977, this is the same Army & Navy I came to when I bought the first birthday gift for him. Now 43 years later, I have bought his last birthday gift from here.

In my opinion I think this has got to be the greatest army and navy store in the lower mainland and in general. The place is very clean, organized, and have very friendly staff members on all their floors. There are abundance of things to choose inside where with a holler a friendly staff member will come by to assist you in any way. Love the employees who work there they’re amazing !!

This is as close as you'll get to a Giant Tiger store in BC. A little bit of everything. The store is spread over four floors, with escalators between some of them, which some will find challenging to navigate just in terms of cohesive shopping experience, but not good if stairs are something you avoid. The aisles are wide, the store seems well stocked and uncluttered. FYI, women's washroom on the fourth floor, men's washroom on the bottom floor.

An older building; they fixed it up, but did not update. A great fishing/hunting and camping section on the ground floor. Shoe selection (for women) is just as good as always, with lots of boot styles when in season. Men's section is on the Street floor - can find work gear and work boots, heavy duty gloves and socks, rain jackets, etc. They have a grocery section now, too. This is a large store with good selection. Has a small parking lot on Front street, at the back of the store. Prices are reasonable, especially on camping and fishing stuff, and shoes.

One of the most underappreciated places out there. If you have a budget this is the place to be. N better prices than this place. 30$ goes a long way here, parking is kind of difficult

This place has slide a bit. They used to have a larger grocery section, but this has shrunk substantially. It feels gloomy in there; not that may people. They used to send our an e-flyer, but not any longer. I used to go twice/ three times a week to pick up the specials"

Retail is a tough business, especially with Amazon taking away from local retailers. I LOVE THIS STORE, it’s history and everything it stands for. Sure the inventory is looking a little low, but they are doing the best they can to stay competitive and provide a valuable service to the community. I always find something to buy when I visit, even if it’s just a $1 pair of socks. This is one of the LAST DEPARTMENT STORES in lower mainland, and it’s very well priced! SUPPORT the Army & Navy, and keep the tradition alive.

Good selection and good competitive prices. Not a place one thinks of immediately for shopping, but there several floors and many different departments. They are very big on fishing and decent selection of camping items. If you need work clothing, boots and outerwear, they have a great selection to suit most industrial needs. There is a small parking lot at Front street, and can be a bit tricky to get to after the city made renovations to the parkade and Front street access, but worth the bit of trouble if you want some good deals.

Lots of floors and merchandise. Lots of parking for customers behind the building -- off front street. Some great deals on children's clothing, groceries, bedding, decor, fish and tackle, camping and safety gear. Right on the main strip of New Westminster. Very clean and the staff are nice.
