We had a wonderful relaxing time. Friendly staff and community. The grounds and washrooms very well kept. Little bit of a walk to throw trash out and need loonies for shower, but other than that amazing place to stay.

We stayed for a week in August 2019 and had such a good time with friends who stayed in the lot next to us. Our lots were on cotton wood drive just across from the playground which is perfect for our families and watching the kids play from our campsite. We also were a 1 minute walk from the dog beach which was just down the road from our campsite! Everything was so close and easy to access. We will definitely be back again soon. The grounds are so well maintained by the courteous staff and the amenities really made it feel like a resort! There is a bar and grill, ice cream shop, laundry services, showers and bathrooms, a convenience store and paddle board and kayak rental area with a whole marina. We saw two playgrounds in the resort and the boat slip and launch were easy to access. All around an AMAZING family trip!

We rented a pet-friendly trailer from the owners through the resort. The trailer was large and comfortable, well-equipped and only a few lots from the dog beach. I found the lots to be small, with room for a trailer, shed, firepit area and a small grassed area. There is only a fence between neighbours, although the resort as a whole is well treed. Resort management was extremely helpful, and the resort is well cared for. As it was off- season, the pool was closed, and we did not partake in the bar and grill, the hot tub or the store. There are laundry facilities, propane refills and ice on site. There a at least a couple of boat rental businesses in a town not far away, which provide pontoon and ski boats, along with stand-up paddleboards, tubes, skis, etc. It is a forty minute drive to Salmon Arm, most of which is on the Trans-Canada Highway

Our trip started horrible and then we found this gem.On a Saturday morning we headed out to the oakangan and by mid Saturday our existing plans at another RV lot were changed to something undesirable. We called around to about 20 different places with no luck. Running out of options we stumbled on Cottonwood Cove and they immediately answered (where others did not).We mentioned our position and said to come and they will find a solution for us. The moment we entered we knew we were saved. The entrance was inviting and after chatting to the reception they were able to find us a temperary spot for the night and then a place by the beach for the remaining 6 nights.Keep in mind we had a 30 foot trailer and 3 kids and a dog with us so this was a huge relief. This place has it all and me and my wife who are used to the nicer RV parks were even impressed.-a decent sized playground for the kids-family environment-they had a Halloween in August night our first night there-bathrooms are very very modern and clean.-we did not use the showers but it's 2 bucks for ten minutes. Not bad as it was super clean-a big beach and a seperate beach for dogs which was amazing-a restaurant / ice cream place / water sport rentals-they have a dock for your boat-they have the lake that sort of runs through the majority of the property which is amazing-the main roads are paved-the sites were large in size. I was impressed.-the wood they had for sale was not the best quality. I ended up going to home hardware in town to buy wood that actually burns good-ice is about 4.50 per bag.-many of the properties are owner owned and they are beautiful sites.-we have 2 children aged 9 and a 12 year old. I felt perfextly comfortable letting them bike around until 10pm. Then it got dark dark.-there is a secret beach about 400 meters to the farthest right beach.. We went there and only 2 people. We took advantage of letting the kids fish. This is the part of the beach which the river runs into the lake.Let's talk mosquitoes. Yes they had them when we were there. I can't blame them as they had pretty high waters weeks earlier. I took morning runs and noticed staff sprayimg the parameter of the property daily. I also saw propane mosquitoe traps. They put work into minimizing them. Just bring bug spray. It helps alot. By day 3 we were used to them and they did not bug us as much but we did get bitten. Bring afterbite too lol.All in all Cottonwood saved our family trip. I would consider buying a site here. Maybe in our future. Thanks again staff. Keep doing what your doing.

Love this place! Clean, friendly and love that there is a dog beach. Fully owned but you can still rent a spot here. Highly recommend

NOT HANDICAPP ACCESSIBLE, we stayed here beginning of September. I specifically emailed asking if resort was accessible as my son was in a wheelchair. Upon arriving we saw that the roads are mostly gravel, the beach is not accessible it is all rocks. You can get into the club house and there is a accessible bathroom which you need to go down a gravel road to get to and no shower that is accessible. One washroom does not make the resort accessible. We paid in full at the 30 days no cancellation we were told everything is operating under fall hours would reduce open times which meant store was only open 10-12 and the pool closed on the Sunday 5 days before we left. My son could get into the pool but when he went to use the handrail to get in and out of the pool via the stairs it fell out into his hand, not safe at all we did make management aware and we got oh yeah we know its easier to clean that way??? Oh and last they require you to use biodegradable toilet paper for their sewer system, its $10 bucks for 4 rolls and paper thin. Bring your own. Resort is very beautiful but I just am frustrated at the fact it is in no way accessible for wheelchairs or walkers of any sort. Golf cart would be required just to go for a walk.

This place was so fun. The dog beach is much appreciated by my 4 legged monster. The water in the cove is was lovely, but the beach water was gorgeous. Very helpful ladies at the desk, in fact, all staff were very friendly. The 2 downsides are the traffic noise, but we were close to the road and I imagine it is not as noisy on the other side of the resort. The other downside is the mosquito's (so not the resorts fault), bring coils and spray. The resort even arranged a Halloween Night in August" the kids got to collect candy! Thanks so much for the great memories!"

Rented a trailer on the campsite, spent 10 days and it was lovely, kids loved it and we had fun, also found out our little pomeranian could actually swim, she just went right in, couldn't resist the beautiful lake.

Stayed here for 1 night. Even though we arrived very late (10:30pm), we were accommodated. The site was smallish but sufficient. Lake beside the site was very nice

We booked this site which we had to do months in advance, once arriving the site looked very clean and organized on a closed gate community. We learned while bring here that 95% of the sites are owner occupied and most sites well established but while we were here not many people around. If you have a boat or enjoy water sports this site is for you but we found it not much to do or see around the local area can be done in a day or two. We booked here for 1 week leaving a day earlier. Our site was covered in cottonwood and got into everything. For the price ? Not on my top list to come back.
