Hathaway Lake Resort

Amazing little retreat. Gorgeous views and super friendly hosts! We absolutely loved it. Everything was extremely clean and fully equipped! If you need rest and relaxation..Hathaway Lake Resort is the place to go! I already miss the views! I'd say one negative I could think of is the beds are either very firm or extremely soft and could use an update...however everyone's preference is different!Another great part is we brought our dogs! Not many resorts allow dogs!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabins are well equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay! The cabins are so cute and rustic but they have electricity which is a huge bonus. Cabins are clean and you cannot beat the view of the lake from your very private cabin balcony. Showers were unbelievably clean and so were the washrooms. The owners Melissa and Jamie are AMAZING - great people! You can tell they are really putting their heart and soul into this resort and care about their guests experience. If you are contemplating booking here, do not even hesitate! We cannot wait to go back. Thank you both for such a great experience...see you guys in the winter!PS. Melissa, your banana bread is to die for!

Melissa and Jamie are fantastic hosts and lovely people. They take the time to welcome, check in on and follow up with guests. The grounds of the resort were very clean, well maintained and beautiful. Access to the lake is amazing and the water was so refreshing for a swim on a hot day! Toilets and shower facilities were clean with nice hot water! A great place to make memories. 10/10 would highly recommend

We stayed in one of their cabins for 4 nights this spring and it was a great experience. The owners made sure we had the advice and gear we needed for successful Kokanee ice fishing. We ended up staying longer than we first intended to, and we’ll definitely be back!

I came up this past weekend with a couple buddies. We got there at about midnight and our cabin was open and ready for us to settle in as soon as we got there! The cabin was warm, clean and the beds were actually quite comfortable! The resort is nice and rustic in a beautiful setting. The fishing was good! The stargazing is incredible! Melissa and Jamie are absolutely wonderful! We can’t wait to get back up there!!!! Highly recommend!!! The other patrons were very friendly and quiet! Great weekend and great experience!

Really enjoyed our stay here over the long weekend! The owners were friendly, helpful, and just so hospitable the entire time. If you’re looking for a rustic, peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, you can’t go wrong with this place! The views and the lake were absolutely beautiful, cabin was fully stocked and cozy. Enjoyed the fishing too! We will go back for sure

Very clean cabins. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of lake from window and deck. Calm lake for paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing with rentals available. Plenty of eagles, loons and other birds to watch and listen to. So relaxing.

Haven’t been up to Hathaway since 2019! Was such a pleasure to come back and enjoy the most beautiful lake in the Cariboo, and meet the new owners! So welcoming and accommodating for our group of 10. The weather was great, the scenery was breathtaking as always and everyone had the best trip to date! Thank you again for having us, we look forward to seeing you all again in the future! **PS the resort itself was immaculate which only added to the picturesque view**

Took my grandparents for fishing trip and this resort did not disappoint! It's affordable and the cabin is cozy and comes with everything you need to get started. The view of the lake from our cabin was something to appreciate each moment you're there as well.The lake is gorgeous and I can't praise it enough. It's small, deep and pretty well protected on the windy days. We were able to fish the lake in 15-30 KM gusts with the electric rental and manage pretty well. Not so sure that's possible on the larger lakes nearby.The new owners Jamie and Melissa are clearly passionate about this place and it shows through how well kept the property is. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and speaking with them.I'm looking forward to coming back and bringing some more friends and family.

Very nice people, great little hidden gem, the cabins are rustic, the grounds were clean, everyone was helpful, its a stocked lake so good for fishing, we plan on going back, great jobs guys keep up the good work.
