Bus driver falsely accusing kids of doing things they aren’t. Getting kids in trouble with the teacher and over exaggerating minor issues. I will be filing a complaint.

I used to be a driver for this bus company. The drivers are, for the most part, retired or just looking for part time hours. The pay is low. The company doesn't pay any benefits, they only pay by route. On average, if you don't do charters you have a monthly pay of approximately 800. In a year you only get about 8,000. If you're looking for part time work then Sharp is the company you want to go to. Be prepared to be up early to get to the yard, do the check of the bus and ensure the safety of the children in your care.

Drivers need better route training and time management skills.

I had a Sharp bus driver (middle-aged, heavy set, blonde, female)(bus #1255) following my vehicle uncomfortably close this afternoon just before 4pm when merging onto the Red Hill. The driver was driving too fast for the speed limit and pushing me to drive faster when I was already driving approx 10 kms over the speed limit. Once on the Red Hill I attempted to put some distance between us and had succeeded temporarily. When I stopped at the red light to make a left turn on King St I looked in my rearview mirror and much to my dismay noticed she was right behind me again. Allow me to explain how close! Probably less than 2 feet away. No exaggeration.Let's just say all I could see was the grill of the bus and I was concerned that if my vehicle rolled back a little that I would bump into the bus (I drive a manual transmission). I made a left turn onto Lawrence Rd and again she was right behind me following much too closely. I once again attempted to get away from her by getting into the left turning lane of a side street off Lawrence Rd but apparently that was where she needed to go as well. I then got back into the through lane and gathered the bus information. It is a concern to me that these people are entrusted with the safety of transporting our children but yet this particular person had no respect for other drivers around her. Clearly she owned the road!! I would appreciate a reply and hope that there will appropriate discipline for this situation and driver.

Straight up lies when you call them. I have a nonverbal child who was 2 hours late getting home after school. Got multiple answers. They will be there in any minute. We don't have enough drivers. She is at the school. I can't get the driver on the radio. I am sure she will be home before 5 because i am done with these calls and my shift ends at 5.Very frustrating to deal with.

My child was late coming home from school, called them to find out what was the reason. I was informed about the bus driver shortage in Ontario which i was unaware of. They were delightful to speak to and gave me all the information I needed. This included calling the driver and finding when he would reach the house. Thank you for the help and support through the difficult times

Seen a Sharp transportation bus speeding on Maple Ave. in Burlington on July 15 at 11:20 pm. Should be a 0 out of 5 stars, why would this company hire very in experience drivers. Because they do not care of safety

I had a series of bookings with Sharp this summer to take my summer camp kids to a rec centre for swimming. The drivers were always punctual (early) and friendly. One day the driver came in to explain there were 2 buses out front, but to board the 2nd one. She had engine difficulties on the way and so another driver had come to loan her bus instead - and they were still early! Great customer service.

bus is frequently late at least 20 minutes 3 times per week. Today it is 1 hour and no contact from bus company letting you know that it will be late getting worse, hard to believe this company still exists.

I was driving down the Kenilwort Acess and this bus driver (#1512) was on her cell phone and doing 50+ in a 40 zone at 9:30 at night.
