Beware of these lawyers. You will sign and pay your retainer then they will ghost you. Honestly feels like all they care about is getting your hard earned money than just leaving you in the wind.I signed and payed for services that I never received. Back in 2021 I paid for help with a family law issue. They were happy to help up until they got my retainer, than they ghosted me. Giving it two more weeks after this review before putting in a formal complaint with the law society of Ontario.Don't waste your money with this firm.

Terrible, unprofessional experience with employment lawyer, she was not prepared for our consult (though more than prepared to take my money). Told me bluntly she had not bothered to read the supporting documentation I was told to prepare ahead of time by their own law clerk. So most of the consult was spent reiterating information that was already sent to them days in advance. Given the horror stories I have now seen about retaining anyone at this firm I am glad I ran after that consult. Do not waste your money here, there are plenty of professional and reliable lawyers in the area.

My experience this year with McKenzie Lake Lawyers was horrible.They took 3.5 wks to provide the funds owed to me, after they said they wired the money.Worse than that, they blamed me for the problem, wouldn't return calls and seemed ill prepared to handle the simplest of tasks.When they did accidentally take my call, they frequently put me on hold for extended periods of time and often left me on hold indefinitely.They don't know me personally so I don't think it was me they disliked, ignored and were rude to.I have a real sense they hate Americans, which I proudly am.Or it could be they wanted to profit from the money float.They owe me for ten international calls to them, my time and interest earned on the money float.I am going to reach out to the Canadian authorities to report what happened.

I reached out to these guys months and months ago.. was assured they would handle my case did all the paperwork then they ghosted me .I have more then 1 lawsuit and was told they would be in contact and would handle it....Was told Alexa & Keven Eagan would be in touch and nada ... leaves ya feeling sortive helpless I feel like they clearly don't really care about clients it's been made clear to me ....steer clear unless you want your case to never see a courtroom...

I used Nathan as my lawyer to buy a home, and to go through for refinancing. He was so efficient, and very knowledgeable. Always available for questions, advice, and so charismatic! I would highly recommend him, and will always use McKenzie Lake.

I am happy to write a positive review about this law firm. They have every type of law covered by expert lawyers and they do so in a professional and caring way. I wouldn't trust any other law firm to work for my best interests.

There are better options and other lawyers that don't overbill you.

Does anybody there know how to answer a phone or email? Guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.
