Our room was dirty upon check in. There were at least 30 long dark hairs all over the bathroom floor. One of the comforters on the bed was stained. Housekeeping was not working so the front desk girl came and swept up the hair and gave us a new comforter. When we changed the comforter the sheet underneath was also stained. Upon further inspection the shower/bath was also dirty with hair and other residue. The front desk told us we could have a refund if we checked out of the hotel right then. At this point it was almost 10pm on a Saturday and we did not have anywhere to go. I asked to speak with the manager but was told he would not call me. When I asked when he would be working next I was told “I don’t know”.

Rooms were clean although bedspread have a few discolored spots. Location was sketchy and not that great for walking around...as we were leaving a couple was cleaning up as their car window had been smashed overnight in the hotel parking lot. breakfast had the usual fare one would expect. Not sure why hotels bother serving gross reconstituted eggs, just don't bother. Service was friendly and efficient. Love the microtel brand and have had great experiences until this one. I would not return to this location.

Stayed here for our anniversary. The Rooms themselves were nice but I wouldn't ever stay here again due to the area. Our car window got smashed in the parking lot overnight, and they apparently didn't have a camera pointing on the location of our car. We thought we should receive some compensation for this as they didn't have cameras on every portion of the parking lot, therefore causing multiple cars to have damage during our break in and multiple other attempted break ins in the cars beside us. The hotel staff were nice enough to give us stuff to clean up, so we did appreciate that. We have still not heard back from this hotel about this situation after a complaint to customer service and the staff contacting their manager. The pool was also dirty.

Staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Poor customer service. Rooms were not clean at all and when requested only cleaned half way cleaned. Garbage was left from previous people. Our vehicle was broken into twice in two nights. Complimentary breakfast was gross. Bugs in the pool. Would not recommend

WORST. SERVICE. EVER! My car broke down on the highway just outside the parking lot, which was empty. My fiance and I, with our toddler in the carseat, managed to push my car into a parking stall and then called a tow truck. I then went into the hotel to inform a staff memeber of the situation and that we are awaiting a tow truck. The lady at the frint desk DEMANDED that we get our car out of the parking lot and that it is for paying customers only. She then said that all of the rooms were full and that we need to pay to use the parking lot, it was a wednesday afternoon at 1pm... She then demanded we move our car back out onto the busy highway or else it will be a $10 an hour charge for our car to remain in the parking lot. Terrible service from the hotel for trying to put a family with a broken down car back onto a busy highway while waiting for a tow truck.

My family and I stayed here for one night and immediately had a number of issues. Woman at the desk was nice checking in and everything, we got to our room and the floor, bathroom and toilet was covered in hair. Later on ants came out of nowhere on the bathroom floor as well. The beds had stains on them and hair as well. We called down to the front desk and had no response so we left a message that was never answered. Eventually we went down and unfortunately the woman at the front desk had to clean up the hair as there was nobody present to clean and apparently no other rooms available. We tried to contact the manager about the issues but they refused to speak to us? Manager told the front desk that we’d only get a full refund if we left the night of check in, at this point it was 9:30pm. Contacted Expedia and got told they’d refund us $40 but would still have to leave to get the full refund. Awful stay and would highly not recommend.

Newer rooms and friendly staff but that's where the good ends. The breakfast is horrible, prepackaged muffins and granola bars, terrible coffee and a few other choice high sugar options. Breakfast area is dirty, chairs are filthy, probably have never been cleaned. Everything in the hotel looks like they tried to cheap out. The lights in the bathroom are on a motion sensor so if you are in the shower and not moving around alot they shut off on you. All the door close really hard and it echos down the hall, even the shower door, mini fridge is noisy and not in a cabinet making it for a very loud hotel. The pillows in the room look like they are normal pillows that have been cut on half. The whole hotel is a sauna, room was at 25C in middle of winter, we had to run the AC to make it tolerable to sleep. And to top it all off no airport shuttle. Overall there are much better options so I would avoid.

I concur with the other reviews about the west facing rooms which is where the highway is, are not ideal. I had the worst sleep due to the drone of traffic. We came in a little late and staff was lacking. You had to go down the lobby to grab towels or extra pillows. They also have this weird thing where they make the pillows square. You really have to open them up to make them into normal rectangular pillows. Breakfast was sub par as well. Weekdays only had cereals and fruits. They had NASA scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages and hash browns during the weekend. Hash browns were like cardboard and pancake machine broke every other person.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. We were beside the highway and the noise isn’t as bad as the other reviews described. The breakfast is the same like other hotels. I would stay here again.
