Driftwood Cottages

We've stayed at the Driftwood Cottage a number of times. It is absolutely amazing. Right on the ocean with a fresh water brook running along side. The cottage is a fully equiped log cabin with one bedroom and a loft for additional sleeping area. Words can't describe how nice this place is. Besides this location these freindly folks have other cottages available just down the road which I can only imagine are every bit as nice as the Driftwood.

Great host. Wonderful view. Comfortable and well equipped cottage. Restful and very, very enjoyable.

I've stayed at all three Driftwood Cottages--Driftwood, Beachnut, and Dorothy over the past 30 years. All are cozy, comfortable and well appointed! Enjoy the expansive ocean views, and the peace and quiet of southern Grand Manan. Shayne and Anna Marie are wonderful hosts!

My wife and I have repeatedly booked time at Dorothy Cottage. It is a gem of a place. Secluded at the south end of Grand Manan and only a few yards from the shoreline, it has absolutely beautiful views. It is only a 5 min walk to Deep Cove beach for a swim or lazing about on the sandy beach watching the famous tide go in/out. The cottage is well stocked and very comfortable. The sound of waves breaking on the rocky shore lulls you into a relaxed mindset. Shayne has always been friendly and helpful. He gives us a heads up when the fresh catch is arriving.This is one of our favourite spots to escape the bustle of city life. We highly recommend Driftwood Cottages, and particularly Dorothy Cottage.
