I had to drop off a lab sample for my sick daughter from the doctor's office. I asked to drop off the sample they were rude and told me to get in line, I had to leave as I had a sick kid at home. They should really have a lab drop off spot, there is no need for people to wait in line, the sample is already taken by the doctor and labeled and sealed.

On November 13 2021, I saved my spot at 8:04am. The app told me that the waiting time it was 152min. I arrived at the Labs around 10:10am. I told the lady on the door who was checking in people, that I have a save my stop at 10:30am. This lady, Very despot, rude and bossy told me to line up without checking my name or else. Even though I told her I have save my spot. It was too many people lining up and she didn’t respect my saved spot. I wonder what’s the reason to save an spot if the lady on the door do whatever she wants? She should be more empathetic with people that rather fasting and don’t feel well or maybe people have some pain conditions or not even speak English. She shouldn’t raise her voice. They finally called me 1pm. Bad service and employees at this location are very rude… super rude. NO POINT TO SAVE YOUR SPOT in this location. Very disappointed

This Life Lab is located on the 2nd floor. It doesn’t require an appointment unlike another Life Lab on Kingsway. You can just walk in to draw your blood. The walk-in waiting time is around 60-100 minutes (during 12-2pm).People come to the lab all have to wait in line, whether you have an appointment or not. The length of line changes over time from around 0-20 minutes wait.There are about 30 seats in waiting area, which is quite enough for the crowd. The staff are friendly and caring even though they are busy.

I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment time. Now I have waited over 90 minutes for my number to be called and am still waiting, please go anywhere else if you can.

I went there on Sat morning ( May 27th 2023). It was super busy as always but that didn't bother me much. I am used to waiting in labs. After some time they called me to the station where the nurse came and took my blood sample. She gave me a cotton ball asked to sit there and press the spot. The sign in front of me says that it needs to be pressed 3 - 5 minutes. Well after barely a minute they called another person to my station and this woman started yelling and screaming that somebody is already there. I felt very uncomfortable. It felt like she saw an intruder or something. The nurse came and asked me to go home. I took my things and left after about minute and half from the time my blood was taken. I though nothing of it but later on I got a big black bruise on the arm where the needle was. This never happened before and I believe it is because I was rushed and didn't have at least 3 minutes to press the wound . I do feel that the safety procedure wasn't followed in my case and that resulted in the internal bleeding way more than it would be if I waited there at least 3 minutes like I always did in the past.

I have been using this lab for several years. If you want a quick in and out" experience

Used the net check in to find a spot about 75 mins in advance. When I arrived it was busy but orderly and efficient. I signed in 10 mins in advance of my appointment time and had my blood test done by about 10-15 mins past it. Overall considering the pandemic rush of various tests being conducted it was a smooth experience.Staff were friendly and courteous. Hard to find signage outside so aim for the main building entrance number listed and showcased in my review. It’s on the second floor so either take the elevator or stairs as I did to get there.

If you don’t have time to wait and are relying on your appointment, I would avoid this location. There is no process in place to separate people who have appointments, drop offs and walk ins. I showed up early for my appointment and there was still 30 people ahead of me. I didn’t get into the actual office until 25 mins after my appointment time. There needs to be a better process in place to separate why people are there. Once I was checked in, I was the next person seen but it still doesn’t help if you’re counting on an appointment time. By the time my appointment started, I was 40 mins past my scheduled time.

December 12, 2021If this is your first time coming to this location please note there is no entrance on Kingsway! In fact the building address can’t be seen on Kingsway!The building is actually on the corner of Nelson and Bennett That’s why checking google maps is the best.There is an entrance from the parking lot and from Nelson street.If you are driving turn into the London Drugs parking lot. This leads to the back parking area and the building entrance is to the right. It’s an Impark pay parking lot.Once you get through the entrance the lab is located on the second floor. Stairs will be quicker than taking the elevator.There should be someone by the front doors to check you into the waiting area. The usual check your ID and lab and you are directed to the waiting area. I’d say there is about 5 waiting area sections with about 4-5 chairs spaced out in each area. Note that the big screen TV on the wall will show estimated wait times. Unfortunately not all the seats have good sight lines to the TV.They will call your name and the desk number to check in and get assigned to a testing cubicle. There are 4 numbered desks and it looks about 16 testing cubicles.Cubicles 1-10 are just down the hall and pretty easy to find. The others are past the first hallway and at the back of the location. I didn’t really notice any signs indicating these locations. I just kept walking and figured they must be just past the hallway.I arrived at 7:15 and left at 8:00 on a Sunday. 12/12/21

I am waiting since 7:15. The room is full of people and what the stuffs are doing you might ask? Ho they are ignoring all of us because they are too busy talking about a friend’s dinner with her boyfriend. I want a job here because I will get pay for talking about my personal stuff. when I walk in they will told me the waiting for walking in is about 1 hour and it’s been 2 hours and 15 minutes I am still waiting.
