This company is incredibly professional, I cannot recommend them enough. We were away while our eaves and facia and window trim were installed. We came home to a perfect job and a very clean job site and an invoice that was less than the quoted amount. This type of superior service is hard to find in the construction industry. They really do shine with their excellent customer service, communication and installations.

They installed soffit, facia, trough and some siding shakes! Excellent job, excellent service. Highly recommend!

We hired Vanderlann to install a front door, side door, sliding patio door, and siding on the extension of our house with mixed results. The doors and siding are great, but they left behind a leaky and sloppy installed sliding door.The pros: the crews were pleasant and professional. The front door and side door were completed within a day with nice trim work and seals. They didn’t leave any of the hardware behind to program the locks but did give paint to match doors with future caulking. The siding crew took a couple days and did a great job flashing underneath the edges and making sure it looks clean. They explained everything well and ended up charging us less than quoted based on materials, which was a genuine surprise and much appreciated!The cons: the previous patio door had been leaking, so we had pulled out all the rotten wood below, rebuilt the mudsill, sistered joists, and sealed it in with a rim joist to build up from. They put the patio door overtop but left a large gap below the door with a bunch of exposed shims.The first heavy rain, these shims soaked through and left us with water inside. As you can see in the photos, there was a significant gap along the bottom. There is flashing halfway below the sill but with some shims below it and others shims on top of it.As you can also see in the photos, there is also a mess of caulking along the large gaps, which has already split in two weeks of weather. I called to get them back and the solution was to tack a board on the inside (pictured here as well), meaning that water can once again pool under the door and rot out the joists and mudsill.Overall: I had heard so many glowing reviews about Vanderlann but not sure I would agree. The crews were great and three of the four jobs were done well but I am going to have to get someone else to actually finish installing the patio door, which is currently letting in water and air. A brad nailed piece of wood won’t do much for winter weather, condensation or long term weatherproofing.EDIT: Vanderlann reached out to come and cap the door, so will update the review following the work.

Just giving a shout out to Vanderlaan for their exceptional customer service. I purchased a Weiser exterior door lock over 10 years ago that developed an issue. I stopped in to see if I could get a replacement part or get it fixed. They explained the lock had a lifetime warranty and all I needed to do was complete the online claime to get a new one sent to me. (A 2-3 week process.) I explained I really need if fixed ASAP as I had someone needing access the next day. The staff (Ryley) handed me a brand new warranty replacement and said they would complete the online warranty on my behalf. I was so impressed and almost felt a little guilty leaving as I was not expecting that. What a great customer experience. Shop Local! You don't get this kind of service online or from the big box store.

I wanted an estimate on a sliding door and a price for installing it and I wanted a price for two family room windows and how much to install them. I was not sure I wanted to do the windows at the same time as the door. That was the reason for keeping things itemized. Believe it or not I talked to three people when I got the estimate and none of them would itemize the estimate or even tell me how much the sliding door was and how much to install it without the windows. they just gave me one lump sum price for everything and thought I should not ask questions. I was told that .this is the way they do business and they refused to break the estimate down. They had sent a fellow to our house to measure and see what we wanted. They knew exactly what was required but just refused to break it down. I will never buy from this outfit and I would not recommend it to anyone else. HUGH LAKE

Saw on there large sign out front that they sold shades/blinds. Decided to go in and see what they have. The reception I received at the door was the most unwelcoming cold display I've got going into a place of business. Literally we stood and just stared at each other as I was expecting a hello or can I help you greeting. Nope! When I mentioned what I was looking for He said we don't sell that. I said well your sign says you carry window treatments? He then asks if I'm looking for wooden shutters. I had told him binds. He then asked for exterior. I said interior. No. They don't have. He did not direct us to any other business in town that might offer what we were after to help stay local but I already knew about Sines so I went there. I will never step foot in the place again nor give a good word on my experience. Would businesses please teach your staff customer service skills 101. It could make or break your sales. Btw. If you no longer sell a certain product then please remove it from your sign so people don't have to waste their time coming here. It's not easy going anywhere these days.

Chris and Anthony installed our storm doors and a new door at the rear of our house. They were not only personable but installed the doors, cleaned up and took the garbage away.The person who came to measure sure could use a lesson or two on customer appreciate and service but Chris and Anthony made that experience go away and quick!Loved their work, their efforts and would recommend these two anytime.Thank you Anthony and Chris. Big shout out to the fantastic folks over at Vanderlaan Building Products and Construction for the exceptional job replacing the siding, soffits, gutters and facia on our 23 year old home. From Jake’s assistance helping us with product choices and coordination, we succeeded to modernizing our home and not only does it look amazing, it’s now ready to face all the elements have to throw at it for years to come (yeah! no more gutters to clean out) The order desk ensured everything required to complete the project on time and on budget was ready and available at the start. Ryan and his crew Barry, John and Matt are true artists of their craft and extremely great at explaining options and solutions. They did exceptional finish work that greatly exceeded our expectations in every way.
