Citizens Advice Waltham Forest

Spoke to Kulwant, super patient to explain ( more than once ) what I had to research to help my situation (frond, contact numbers) so I can get the correct benefit for my case.Execellent service

I was walking past the office and needed some housing information. I went into the office. I got seen very quickly. The man was very helpful. They are very efficient. The information they gave me was really helpful. Thank you very much

They never pick up phone for ages and don’t actually give you the right advice, specially if your stuck and get a lot in benefits becoz ur disabled, they still do not care. I had to find information myself and recall them again to fulfill mine and my children’s needs.

At the most difficult times when me and my family were struggling due to my husbands immigration status. I contacted citizens advice and i was given solid advice on all aspects. I helped my Ms Shah, Nazmul and Helen. It was fantastic service and i will always appreciate there time and effort at a very difficult time i wouldnt have known where to go. I found everybody to be really friendly and easy to talk to.

they have simply been fantastic, the lady nida who deals with me has been my saviour she is amazing and has helped me with eveything i have needed. Honestly cannot recommd enough would put 10 stars if they let me. thank you nida for everything you are such a good person and have been empathetic and more than helpful .

NAZMUL KHALIQUE & AYSHA RAHMAN WALTHAM FOREST CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU - Appalling, unprofessional people who take advantage of vulnerable members of society seeking advice and financial assistance. Aysha Rahman failed to mention the existence of turn2us and other grant giving bodies, gave the wrong advice about the Warm Front grant (whose existence she only mentioned when I brought it up), telling me it was too late to apply when it is not. She failed to mention the existence of a Freedom Pass, worth thousands of pounds a year, which I qualify for. She promised a food bank referral which a month later never materialised. She is totally untrustworthy and incompetent. I finally complained to someone who claims to be a manager, Nazmul Khalique, who also failed to help and covered up for Ms Rahman with lie after lie. These people know they are in a position of power and abuse it. They are totally despicable and cruel. Mr Khalique is aware I am a disabled woman and only weight 41kgs, he is allowing me to starve and is a totally contemptible person. I am now escalating my complaint as these 2 need to be investigated. They are not fit to keep their jobs.

Walthamstow citizen advice bureau is not providing service. I booked an appointment through a phone with Walthamstow citizen advice bureau for a PIP application. I was told it's going to take place at Walthamstow library. I went to find out the place a week before my appointment date. One of the librarian told me the person from Citizen advice sits at the corner of the cafeteria.Unfortunately person didn't turned up at the appointment day also there is no communication with Library and the citizens advice bureau. Obviously there are different librarian and not all of them know what I was talking about, there is no specific area for waiting citizens advisor. How do I know who am I waiting !! I've disability and can't walk much but I was trying to find out by asking around if I was at correct place, what's the person looked like .....Called citizen advice bureau someone picked up half an hour later very apologetic but at the same time patronised me about being a charity, voluntary work....Furthermore it's a public place and my personal details would have been talked about when filling the application form. All in all it is not well organized, there is a help but it is not really available, I wasted my time in this hot weather by using public transport to get Walthamstow library and waiting there 40 min.

They are closed. The number to call is also closed because no one answers. You can detach what you need online and if you are lucky speak to someone on the live chat. No one is available to answer any queries.

Have been trying to contact this service for many days no one answers either of the numbers provided and no Web chat available. How this organisation is being funded by waltham forest when they don't provide a satisfactory service for the residents of the Borough. How are we suppose to get much needed advice when nobody is there to advise.
