Red Wing - Langley, BC

Well stocked, and knowledgeable. They had the boots i needed on my feet within 3 minutes of entering the store. They killed it. :)

I’ve admired Red Wing boots for women for years and have finally saved up to buy some. I walked into this location today and was a bit disappointed in the atmosphere. It was dead silent in the store. A salesperson was helping a woman but was just staring at her silently while she thought about the boots she had tried on. It was very awkward so I looked at some boots and ended up leaving as the other woman was going to pay.Like I said, this was my first time in a Red Wing store so I’m not sure what is normal. I plan to come back at a busier time as it was midday on a weekday. If this location normally doesn’t play music I’d recommend some to make it less awkwardly silent! Also, to any sales people reading this, if someone is trying on shoes maybe make yourself available but don’t stand 2 feet away staring in silence. Like say you’re available but maybe pretend to work at the front desk? I’m not keen to pay a few hundred dollars for shoes if it means I have to sit in silence while someone stares at me trying on boots.Look forward to giving this location another try and will certainly change my review if the experience and atmosphere are better!Also let me just end this by saying that the boot selection was beautiful!

We had excellent service. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. My husband has been wearing Redwing boots for the last 25 years. Always happy with their quality.

Quality products, but the last time I went to this location the staff refused to replace my broken laces with 72” stating that redwings warranty won’t allow it (even though I’ve had them replaced successfully 5 times prior)Went to the Abbotsford location and they handled it with no issue, will be continuing to go to that store for future purchases

Bought a pair of work chukkas two years ago. Asked for 11-11.5 because I wear size 12/45 and was told to order small for long term benefit. Was prescribed size 10 which I could not get on and was sold 10.5. At no stage was my foot measured. I fully understand no one held a gun to my head to buy these. They have not fit since day one I tried for over a year. I have since purchased footwear from Mephisto, Birkenstock, caterpillar etc over the internet ordering my size and not having any problem. Also my red wings started to come apart at the toe like a month after trying to wear them a few hours per day because they didn’t fit and I was hoping they would break in. Regardless of whatever the company reply might be, I have shown that ordering footwear from other companies without even involving human contact has consistently gone better for me than dealing with a red wing store in person. So there is no way I can feasibly use red wing product in the future and I have Never to pass this message to others in the hope they do better as well. I did not mention anything at the time because I was not interested in a solution from those I did business with. I am just passing on facts to others.

Hopefully optimistic. Just bought my first pair of Red Wing boots. I bought the brown Exos and added a Multicork Orthotic" insole. They are the lightest pair they offer and have a crank lace type system for easy slip on & off.I will update this review after wearing the shoes for longer than 6 months. The 4 star rating is for the excellent service I received from the patient

Not as good as the old red wing. I think the owner of the old red wing is now reddhart. I like reddhart people better. I post picture of the better store

Went in to buy my first pair of redwings and had amazing costumer service. It was quite the experience of putting on boots that felt like heaven and fit perfect to my wide feet for once. Thanks to the gentleman to helped me out, he was very professional and friendly.

WARNING!!!! Save your self the time and money. This is the second time I’ve bought boots from the Langley red wing store and had major issues with the boots literally falling apart and leaking. When bringing the boots back for repair or replacement within the warranty. The Lady that manages the store has a serious attitude change. From a nice women when you’re handing cash over to a very sad and angry person. Almost like she was paying for the repairs out of her own pocket. It’s very confusing. When someone spends their hard earned money on over priced boots just to have them fall apart and then get treated horribly when you bring them in under warranty. Super disappointed.

I went in to get my first pair of redwings that I’ve been procrastinating for years. She measured my foot and tells me I should get a size smaller than usual. And for some reason, I allowed her to convince me. She told me they would stretch nearly 1 size larger. My feet hurt all day long and my toes are crushed into the steel. The boots are pretty much useless and I can’t return them. On top of that I got them to do my toecaps “professionally” and they are crooked. Very irritating every time I look at my boots. If you really want redwings go for it. Just don’t let the lady who’s never worked on the tools before tell you how your boot should fit.
