I had the pleasure of staying with Sonja for her 5 day retreat, and it transcended my expectations. I was really just looking for a quiet, low key place to de-stress away from my very busy life and stressful career - I wasn't expecting to find something that I feel has redirected the course of my life and redefined my definition of self care.This is like a luxury spa for your insides. It's the most wholesome, gentle, welcoming place you can imagine, and I feel like I've been shown a whole other world that I was just moving way too fast to see.I was skeptical at first, this kind of thing wouldn't have been what I call up my alley"

Cedar Healing Arts is nestled in beautiful Gravenhurst. Sonja's home is peaceful, warm and filled with sunshine. My self retreat weekend was a wonderful opportunity to ground myself, reflect on my life and future and gain insight from meditation, conversation, joyful movement and healing whole foods. Sonja's wisdom and life experience is so wonderful and her generosity of sharing I so cherished. I can't wait to go again!

I'm grateful for the time I've spent with the talented and compassionate human beings at Cedar Healing Arts. I've completed 2 of the personal wellness retreats and look forward to visiting again. Selfcare and being well is tough to figure out on our own. The retreats offer a way to book time in the year when I can look forward to slowing down, nourishing the soul and belly, and reevaluating the needs of my body and heart.

Out of curiosity I was drawn to the stone therapy with sound journey treatment never having experienced anything similar. It was a powerful experience that was very cathartic, leaving me lovingly connected to our universe. I was also able to fully release some familial baggage.Sonja skillfully selected the perfect stones and created my musical sound journey with her collection of enchanting instruments.Sonja is a gifted woman with a beautiful soul.

Sonja has a very welcoming and comfortable home with a studio for yoga and meditation as well as a sauna and large kitchen for cooking. Her rooms are clean and and have a lovely ambiance. Lots of outdoor space to relax too. She is an accommodating host and a fantastic practitioner and yoga teacher. She cares deeply about her guests and their overall experience. Great for personalized mini retreats or gatherings.

Sonja has created a beautiful and nourishing environment for healing and sacred wellness retreats. I came here for a personal getaway with my partner and it was such a lovely and wonderful experience. We enjoyed the daily yoga and soundbath before bed as well as soft and gentle shiatsu treatment. Sonja is filled with knowledge about holistic living, Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. The stone medicine journey with acutonics was a really grounding treatment but also left me drifting off into another dimension. The zen vibes of Cedar Healing Arts is so comfy and cozy and truly a little oasis in Muskoka! Highly recommend for anyone who wants some self care and a boost to their wellbeing. We enjoyed being in nature and having an escape from the city. :)
