After they came out to my home to assess the job, I was given a quote of between $500. and $800 dollars to install, to code, just the venting for my Napoleon gas stove. I was never informed that it would be any more than that and when I received my invoice it was for $1800. They charged me for material that was for high wind, which was not at all needed. I was disappointed to see multiple scratches on the venting which were covered up with a sharpie. I'm not sure if they did that or if they charged me for new material and installed used material. That would not surprise me because although they didn't use my venting that came with the stove...they did keep it. I did stand my ground and they took money off of their invoice but it was still way more than my quote and certainly not worth the bad experience. I put a lot of trust in them and I feel like they took advantage of me.

We had a ductless heater/AC installed summer 2021 by Brian Johnson. His men were professional and courteous and provided us with a very efficient, cost saving unit. We love it on those really hot summer days and cool autumn mornings.We also have our cottage winterized by Brian and he always accommodates our schedule as best he can and completes the job thoroughly and in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

I had just taken ownership of a home in Grand Bend but wasn't yet moved in, it was winter and the furnace didn't work. They took care of everything, including putting a portable heater in there to ensure no water freezing, until a new unit arrived to be installed. They've since installed a gas fireplace and tankless hot water heater for me, both great jobs.

Highly recommend this company. Local and they are incredibly personable. Had a aeptic issue and they made our cottage a priority, pushing back non-essential appointments. 12 out of 10 IMHO. Brian and his son worked tirelessly with quality results. Mitch, their assistant was patient and explained their work. Our flow out of the cottage is running unimpeded once more. Many many thanks.

We were moving into the Grand Bend area and needed a new furnace and A/C and possibly a gas fireplace now or before winter and our Realtor highly recommended them and I had called to have a quote done.I had arranged on June 12 for them to come in the following week and heard nothing, waited until the 29th and the receptionist said the person that does the quotes is off mondays and will be first on the list for Tuesday and by end of Tuesday I had heard nothing again , so I placed a call before closing and she said she would check with them for an idea when they could come by and get back to me. Well no one ever got back to us and we had had enough , as far as we are concerned they are very unprofessional!!I would not recommend this company, yes in the past things were different, after talking to a few of our new neighbours had discovered they were very good but things have certainly changed.Very unfortunate, I don’t like giving a bad review but this was a very frustrating and unheard of process just to receive a quote for an very expensive service and a new customer to the area, and we will not be recommending this company to anyone that asks us for a referral in the future.If I could give no stars that is what would show on this rating.

Excellent communication, very accommodating and completed the job quickly. Everything works as it should. Happy to have found a reliable local service :)

They did what I needed and were good to deal with. They worked for me a year ago as well. They make paying the bill an easy thing to do.

Staff are knowledgeable and a great place to stop , an awesome selection of items for christmas nic nacs etc. Also offer dry cleaning service.

When our kitchen sink backed up (30 years of accumulated gunk in the pipes) we tried the usual home remedies, without success. We phoned quite a few local plumbers, but either they weren't available or did not return calls. But Brian Johnson & Sons in nearby Grand Bend (we're outside of Bayfield) came through. They returned the phone call, arrived when they said they would, totally fixed the problem, tidied up completely, and were most courteous. The price was fair. Would use this firm again and would recommend without hesitation.
