I find the forest hills location never has anything in stock. I went there for jb weld;it said there was 9 in stock online but when I asked they said it was lost or none in stock, I then went to buy tire shine and same thing(shelves were bare for weeks), tried once more looking to buy automotive primer and of course there was none of that either. My advice if you need anything from canadian tire on the Dartmouth side the Dartmouth crossing is your best bet.

I believe the costumer service woman (short black hair and glasses around 50 to 60) apparently she is a manager and is an absolute idiot we were chase out the store by the customer service lady screaming about having to pay for something she was talking about purse decor that was on my girlfriends purse for over a year and then tried to request a receipt even tho it’s from another store and wouldn’t obviously have a receipt not the most professional customer service department and definitely not a professional manager (we called head person and found out manager was making her own policies)

Frustrating, half of the store is locked behind glass. Are you making assumptions about your clientele? If you have a theft problem start prosecuting those who steal, don’t force the rest of your customer base to suffer because you’re unwilling to hire loss prevention officers or prosecute. Half the store is behind glass and finding staff is hit and miss. Put your paying customers first!

The online ordering system is awful. Despite calling and confirming that they had the bike was indeed there and in stock three separate times over 3 separate days, on the fourth day I call and they tell me they don't have it and they have to cancel the order after the sale has already ended. I would strongly recommend against ordering anything online from this store.

Bought a wiper blade for my car, automotive clerk picked the wrong one. Went back and they picked another incompatible one. Didn't know this one was incompatible until it broke in a snowstorm. Went to return it but couldn't get a refund because I didn't have the blade which is now on the highway somewhere. Went to MR. LUBE and they installed and provided a new blade (and washer fluid top up) free of charge. A positive is that the automotive staff were... nice?*insert generic reply to negative reviews below*

Canadian Tire is great. Also dog friendly which is fantastic for our fur babies.However, 4 stars because the annoying people that don't easily take no" for an answer that try to get you to sign up for a membership. Other than that

Service was great. Wish I could give a 5 for thatHowever, I purchased an item for in-store pick up. I was unable to link my points card at time of purchase. I was planning on using points to pay for the order. When I went to pick it up, I requested a refund and to repurchase with points. I let them know my intentios before the refund. When the price rang up to purchase it was almost double the price. They refused to sell it at the price I had just paid. So I ended up leaving with nothing, an utter waste of time.

I particularly enjoy when I ask a staff member where something is, and they can give you a precise answer. That's exactly what I got on my last visit. The store is bright and well organized and very welcoming.

Depending on which Canadian Tire you go to their is more help or it's non existent. The store employees are very helpful when you can find them. Nice and pleasant to talk to. The stores usually have a good selection to pick from and if they don't have the item you want in stock they will tell you of alternative places to get it from. Good work. :)
