My Advice for those needing to ship a puppy via West Jet cargo? Simple DONT! Not only is it mandatory for them to be there 3 hours PRIOR to their departure, they Charge an extra $500.00 on weekends to hire a third part to come tidy the kennel if there’s an accident within those 3hours. Absolutely atrocious West Jet. Never again

I got my first experience going very bad...BUT BUTthey got me back and veru quickly, they did everything to provide me a great service and fix the mistake. Very very appreciated and they deserve those 5 stars. My pets made it safe and sound, thanks to you guys

They left my 12 week old hairless kitten out in the freezing rain for over an hour. By the time that we got her, her carrier and her were drenched and she was frozen and shaking. I was waiting for her for over 2 hours before they released her. I am unsure if this was a cargo issue or a security issue, as the cargo workers that I talked to were nothing but kind and apologetic, but I am not happy with the treatment of my kitten. She could have very easily died in the temperatures that they kept her in.

Thank you for taking such good care of our puppy coming in from Vancouver - especially in this extreme Feb 2021 cold spell. Everyone was so nice, professional etc in answering all my questions and addressing concerns. Thank you too to the booking folks who also answered all questions and concerns.

Used WestJet Cargo for the first time last week. It felt pricey but honestly I didn’t shop around because they had the best schedule.it was hard to find because they had just moved - maybe overtime they will get some bigger signs up.The most important thing is that the time got there in one piece and on time.

AWESOME. used west jet cargo to send a friend of mines, puppy home to NL and they were super friendly super quick and covid conscious. 2 customers at a time so go early.

If you preschedule your cargo drop off it's really easy

The services was good fast and efficient I was disappointed by their policy no parfum, no laptop or any kind of electronic or tablet or even phone as it has lithium inside. So basically I couldn’t send myLuggage because of that. If was heart broken and the money that I paid was fully refunded into my car in lest then 5 hours which was very supervising to me. Other then that , I guess it a goodPlace to send your stuff if needed ready to pay the price and if you can’t travel there. I recommend it if you have too.

Customer service is dead.Have spent two days trying to ship cargo from YYC to Yellowknife. 5/19 of my packages were too big to fit in the plane, but I didn't find that out until 2.5 hours after the original flight left that the entire order had been bumped. None of the 8+ employees in 5 interactions had the throughout the process noticed or advised that the 5 packages were WAY too big. Wasted my time and made me look like an idiot to my client. Reparation was a whole $50 rebate on a $600 (originally $1000 with the large items :-l). Insulting and such a waste of my time.

Always get alittle lost finding the cargo shipping building, but I have always received such great service.I breed dogs, expensive small breed dogs. And my puppies are delicate cargo, weighing 2.5 lbs on average. Their destination is to their new home, often leaving me just after 9 weeks and often the new awaiting pet parents have chosen their puppy before they are 2 weeks old. Some before they are born. Families are anxious, concerned and so looking forward to the safe arrival of their new fur friend.Thank you, thank you, thank you for the service you provide West Jet Cargo, for the great and sensitive way you treat my valuable cargo. Calgary location has gone above and beyond to meet my shipping needs and the booking staff is remarkable. From myself and from my clients, to the warehouse to booking and office staff, loading personal and in between; we have nothing but appreciation for the efforts you have made.Without you my pups wouldn't live and be loved across Canada!
