Gold Stock Vancouver was a pleasant and easy process. They took my scrap without a hassle and the whole duration was quite quick and done right there in front of me. I highly recommend anyone who has scrap Gold & Silver to check these guys out!

They were helpful to a newbie. They took time to answer stupid questions. They were COMPETITIVE and willing to match prices on other local websites... open Saturdays!The only thing better would be parking, open Sundays, and would be cool if they offer slightly damaged/scratched or .999 Maple Leaves at a discount price...other than that-great! (I'll be going back)I've been going back and prices have been the best in town for gold/silver.One thing which is a tad disappointing is their diamond customer service (me thinks this is a new side business they are trying to get a handle on). I am shopping to upgrade my wife's diamond ring. I made an inquiry providing 4 C's perimeters to ensure apples to apples are bring compared. I have followed up twice to see where the pricing is at and what a trade value would be on my wife's existing diamond. I have waited almost 3 weeks and no response yet.With these guys they know their gold/silver ...maybe not diamonds.WELL... here is a little bit of a frustrating item. I wanted to make an online purchase to see how things work (system was down). Regardless, there were various shipping options-a little pricey and I did not see a min purchase amount to avoid shipping charges. However, one option is to have free shipping if one does pick up from an office. There are 3 offices: 2 in the TO area and 1 in DT Vancouver. There was NO free option for me to pick up my order in Van where I live= not cool!Also, I emailed head office to ask if/when silver Krugerrands and Queens Beasts would be available....no reply and the email was sent about 3 weeks ago. I tried calling tonight to leave a message... VM is full and not able to leave a message. Sorry guys not cool.... still good prices on silver and gold but there are customer service bugs you really need to deal with. Down graded to 3 stars....

As first time buyers, our experience at Gold Stock has been great! The sellers were kind and knowledgeable and help answered all our questions. We returned 3 weeks after the original visit to buy more and again, excellent service. Thank you!

Yesterday the International value of 1 oz of gold was in excess of C$1900Gold Stock was offering C$1889 per oz yet only $1860 for a gold Krugerand.A Krugerand contains exactly 1 oz of pure gold so the profit margin was more than adequate.At noon I called Gold Stock for a quote on 23 Krugerands I had for sale, David, the manager of the Vancouver store offered C$1860 each. Two hours later I called again to say I could be there in half an hour and asked if the quote was still good. He said the price had come down from that morning but he would honour his bid.On arrival after struggling with traffic and paying $6 for parking I was admitted through 2 locked doors. David then unwrapped each of the 23 individually encased coins; weighed each one and said I can pay you C$1850. When I reminded him of our conversation/agreement of 30 minutes earlier he said "yes but the price has come down from this morning". I reminded him again of his pledge to honour despite the fallen price and he said "but I forgot to check the price again when you called the 2nd time" and this despite the huge 30" colour monitor on display in his office showing a graph of the gold price! Clearly this man cannot be trusted

These guys seem lost when working .David is a terrible sales person. Extremely poor customer service . It took me 40 mins to buy 2 gold bars from this idiot and i was the only customer present . I saw him just chit chatting in the back. Save your time and go to VBCE.
