For the price I was expecting an excellent burger combo. I rarely treat myself to one.Ordered a burger combo caramelised onions, fried mushrooms, 40 Creek BBQ sauce, garlic mayo, onion ring. Got barely a teaspoon of onions, maybe half a mushroom, scant sauce or mayo and no onion ring. Fries we just OK, gravy was poor. Shake was not bad. For over $20 for the food plus fees totally not worth it. Would have gotten a better combo from Harvey's.Had hoped for an epic burger and epic review to match! No joy!

Not at all impressed. First off - one person working during the lunch hour. My husband and I waited for at least 20 minutes before we were out the door with our food. The food quality is ok. I ordered the chicken breast adding my own toppings as I do at Harvey's where the service just across the street is a million times better and the burger is a million times better. The guy behind the counter was cold and not friendly at all. He seemed unhappy to be there. As he was making my drink he was pouring out ice and I said I like a lot of ice but he kept saying the drink is already cold but I said I like a lot of ice and I want a lot of ice so why are you not listening to your customer instead of fighting them on it. I did not order the combo. I did not want the fries. I ended up paying for something I did not eat because he did not listen to his customer and he made no apologies that this happened. There were 6 people waiting for service and food and only one guy working. I have no desire to go back as they lacked the ability to differentiate themselves from a Harvey's for example where too you can make your own burger only you get it faster with happy people working. Sorry South St. Burger, not coming back to this location. You tried, but failed.

We have been to several South Street burger locations and they are always good. I would like to tell you a story about this one however. My daughter must eat gluten free, and they have always been good for that. When the gluten free frier was broken down and my daughter could not have fries, they apologized several times and then made free milkshakes for my kids. Fantastic food and customer service. This is the place you want to go for both.

Quick service, fresh ingredients, and everything can be customized to your liking! I was impressed with the burger that I got and would recommend if someone is looking for a good burger spot for takeout.

Somewhere in between fast food and restaurant service. But definitely restaurant quality. Decadent selection of toppings and high quality meat and buns. Fresh cut fries top it all off. A little pricier than a Harvey’s or A&W but definitely worth every penny.

Came here once before on a wednesday. It was good, but very expensive for what you get. Saw specials on mondays and tuesdays for 9.99 build your own burger combos. What a deal, so I decided to come back.Buyer beware, I was informed by the employee working there that it was 9.99 for the burger, and the rest was still an addon. Wouldve been 17 bucks after tax for a burger, fries and pop.Some special eh?

Served with burnt sweet potatoes fries and when asked for replacement, I was told they are well done and that's how they are supposed to be. The drink was without fizz and the person at the counter was kind enough to ask me to take it home with me as it's no good to them.After delivering my burger he told me to take whatever condiments I want from the counter at the back as they won't let in after as it's time for their closing.Will not recommend visiting the store with this staff in.

Wow !Went for lunch today at noon.No one came out to greet us for at least 5 minutes.One girl all alone in the place , takes our order then proceeds to tell us after we paid that it will be 20 minutes2 others ahead of us and many after usFood was sub par at best would not waste your time or money going here.

Really like this place! Recently moved nearby and saw they have a great deal on Mondays and Tuesdays - 9.99 for a regular drink, fries, and a choice of veggie, chicken, or a beef burger with unlimited toppings! The fried chicken burger is my personal favourite! Very tasty, and very friendly staff. I recommend.

Had a coupon come in the mail so thought I would try it out. The one shown in photo is a Build Your Own Burger which turned out pretty great (my food photography could use some work lol) There are a lot of toppings to choose from including fried chicken, caramelized onions, sauted mushrooms and a good selection of sauces. The food was pretty good but prices are a bit high (coupon helped though!)
