Traveller's Inn Summerside

Was absolutely terrible! Our room had a shared door with the front office. I had to put towels in the door jam to keep the light and noise out. The smell of the whole place was very noticeable from the beginning. There were bug guts smushed on the wall. Which no one decided to clean. Our room was dusty, so I wiped it down before placing things about. I killed 2 different bugs at different times. The beds were lumpy. I only got 5 hours sleep. The bathroom curtain had dried blood on it ,in a few spots and the toilet paper holder didn't have the roller in it so they just put the paper between that. And of course as soon as I opened the window up it was packed with dirt. Black dirt. ⚫ I can honestly say this was the worst place that I have ever stayed in. I will sleep outside in the winter before I ever step inside there again.

I was told my room would be available around 1, but it was not available until 3 p.m. the gentleman who answered the phone was very polite and courteous and offered me and option of going for a swim in the pool well I waited for the room. That's what I ended up doing with my year old. The room ended up being ready at 2:30, and everything seemed fine when I first went in the room. We both got showers. The vent and bathroom light were running but after that light and fan ran for a few hours the bathroom developed a terrible smell. Mildew and bacteria. I kept bathroom door closed. My sister rented a room and did not have this issue. Beds were super comfy. Rooms are good size! Coffee is excellent!

The kitchenette was a plus. Our large group had a good time.

Horrible. No breakfast as advertised, don't ask for anything extra what's in the room is in the room. The blankets smelled like cigarettes and a****le. Door was stuck at the top so had to hit the door with my shoulder every time to open it. The rest of the door though had huge gaps. The cold water focet was jammed closed. The toilet barely worked. The a/c unit had a cut power cord that had been awfully repaired. Rude staff except for the early morning guy. The pool is a joke and horrible. There's cockroach like things all around. Very dark and the roof leaks into the pool when it rains and is caving in. People smoke right outside the door. And then throw their cigarette buts all over. So if you value your time then don't go here! Too bad could be a nice place.

A quality room at an affordable price. The kitchenette was a real bonus.

It was great experience , i stayed here for 1 night , room is clean and equiped with everything you need , flat TV , receiver, Desk, big Fridge , oven, toaster coffee maker ,AC, 2 double bed ( i don't like the old design of bed cover but they were clean and comfy)Breakfast not included ( but i knew when i reserved and it is normal for the room price 99.98+tax)Clean Indoor swimming pool.I called twice asking questions before booking and all my questions were answered.I had read the comment and asked them for a room far from the main Road;that is what i got and was really quite.For sure i will stay here again it was way better than the 184+tax room in a Hotel)

We stayed here 2 nights, excellent location. Cathy at the front desk could not have been more helpful. Everything we needed or questions we asked her were taken care of. Her customer service is excellent!

We booked this hotel for a hockey team stay. The hotel was absolutely disgusting. The sheets were stained, mattresses were ripped along the edges and dirty. The box springs were severely stained and moldy. The general cleanliness was very poor, there were cobwebs stringing from the light fixtures, with dust and grime covering every surface. Due to the poorly maintained oven in the room, there was a burn mark on the wall and grease splatter all over the walls. The bathroom, at first glance, looked clean but upon further inspection, the toilet was bubbling up as it used to be yellow but it has since been painted and the paint was bubbling and peeling.Upon telling the front desk employee of our dissatisfaction, they came across as not being surprised. We asked for clean sheets and were told they do not have extra sheets and offered us another room. This room was even more uninhabitable. If we could have found alternate accommodations, and it was not -40 outside, we would have left immediately. We wrapped ourselves in our own blankets and slept (or barely slept) and checked out before 8AM. The hotel did not seem to care and were unfazed by our complaints.On top of this, the hotel charged my credit card for 6times the our amount of stay and my bank locked my card due to suspicious activity.We also had someone trying to enter our room at 3AM. I’m assuming that this was someone who had too much to drink at the hotel lounge and had mixed up their rooms. Either way, the hotel outside doors stayed unlocked all night and anyone could come and go.Do not stay at this hotel, we felt very unsafe and I’m shocked this hotel is even permitted to be open with their total disregard for minimum standards.
