My friends, and family and I all continue to book Marissa. This is a really special unique experience to share with friends. Marissa is really good at approaching each group differently whether it is a function for a bachelorette, a professional gathering, or a family night. She is incredibly knowledgeable and lovely! Highly recommend.

My husband booked a surprise wine tasting in our own home hosted by Marissa - it was such a lovely experience! I was incredibly impressed with how knowledgeable she is, her level of service, her explanation of the process, and the fun facts (and games!) she shared with my circle of family and friends. She had the tasting catered to some interests while also exploring some new things (which I love), and had prepared handouts of the list of wines for us to track our own notes!It was a memory I won't forget and I'm so glad to have been able to support someone local!Thank you! We had a great experience with The Local Cellar! I booked them for a wine tasting for 11 of us for my wife's birthday at our own home, and we were not disappointed. Marissa is incredibly knowledgeable and a delight to talk to. Organizing the event was painless, as Marissa clearly laid out the process, suggested some options, and after a bit of back-and-forth we were good to go. It was much much cheaper than a wine tour, and my wife found a new favourite wine after this event!

I hired Marissa for a private wine tasting for a backyard bachelor party and it was the best decision! Her approachable style made even those new to wine feel welcome and the games and prizes she prepared kept everyone engaged and entertained. Marissa was so knowledgeable about the wines she selected and everyone left with a new favorite wine (the Rolet!). Marissa also went above and beyond to incorporate details about the couple into the tasting which made it even more special.
