Absolutely the worst doctor anyone could possibly have, she refuses to answer calls from patients. The only way to get prescriptions renewed is to wait at her office from 11 am to 4 pm. in hopes that she might actually care enough to show up and do her job. And if after all this you are feeling frustrated, don't even think about complaining because she will drop you as a patient and leave you without a family physician. I cannot for the life of me think of any reason she should be allowed to practice medicine or be trusted in anyway with the well-being of anyone.These are my personal opinions based on past experiences of my family and myself and should be taken as such.

The worst and most inconsiderate doctor ever. Should be fired and replaced. Runs entire clinic on 3 days a week rarely returning calls to book appointments. When patients come to her struggling and finally get a call back to make an appointment after months of trying, she is now leaving for a vacation and cant book for 6+ weeks. Why be a doctor if you don't give a **** about your patients whatsoever?

I have been needing a doctor since I stopped being her patient in January 2020. I advised another location about the fact that she is no longer my doctor and I am in need. They advised me that it would take only a few months to get the new doctor they had gotten to settle in and they would call me. Well it is now December 2020 and I decided to call health care connect as someone gave me info to call and register for a new doctor. You wouldn’t believe what they advised me......that dr. Shalini Jain is still my doctor?? I was a little miffed at hearing this and advised them what I actually did. They told me to call another number which I did and in 3 business days she will no longer be my doctor. By not doing this herself in January, she put my health in jeopardy for the last 11 months as I am to go for blood work every 3 months for A1c numbers. I will be getting a new doctor shortly with no thanks to her. Please, please be careful if going with her!!

Dr. Jain has been a wonderful Dr. for my husband. She diagnosed cancer on his forehead, did a referral to a Cancer Dr, at KGH, and then a Surgeon removed the Cancer all in less than 3 months. I also had a medical issue that was dealt with efficiently once I had my appt. today.

Sadly, our experience reflects that of so many others. We actually left their care and after 3 years, finally found another doctor and team. The grass is greener on the other side. Dr didn't provide adequate support for us or newborn child. Disheartening overall.

I do not recommend this doctor to anyone money, hungry and out to get money from as many people as she can no matter their situation or circumstances. She is always in a rush. Does it take time to listen to her patients horrible bedside manner heartless. My last appointment with her I left devastated in tears. My honest opinion the medical board should revoke her license. She shouldn’t be a doctor.. I’ve noticed in many occasions, how she treats patients and treats the people from her own country better than Canadian. that’s not a good trait for a Doctor Who is greedy, cold and racist.

I am so grateful for her compassionate personality. Dr Jain went above and beyond when my husband wasn't well. She stayed late so she could see him and then sent him straight to KGH!!She's someone who truly cares about my mental health as well as my physical health.Yes, she is very busy but it only took 15 minutes to get my prescription refill.Unfortunately, Dr. Jain had a hard time getting competent staff but the current staff are wonderful!Dr. Jain has a great work/family balance!

This doctor is not a very good doctor at all I have not seen a practice like this in my life I have a mentally ill daughter and I have a hard time if I was never she never calls back ever she never calls my daughter back ever we are seeking to get a new doctor

Horrible service, sees you as only a number and constantly cancelling appointments. Claims to be sick" every Friday.... hmmmmm. Tried to get her to fill out an important medical form for 2 years- she constantly cancelled appointments and then finally claimed she couldn't help me because she hadn't seen me in two years as if that was my doing when

If i could give this doctor a negative number i would. She is the absolute worst doctor I have EVER seen. My boyfriends sugar was out of control, the meter wouldnt even register the number. We go into jain, she gives him bloodwork papers and then says see you in 2 weeks. Excuse me?? I dont think so, we went to the hoapital and they gave him medication. He went did the bloodwork, and she called him 2 days later, omg you need to come in now. Hes like well i have my car tore apart right now and im an hour away, so ill see you on appointment day. We tried for 3 years to get his sugars under control. She didnt bother changing medications, or anything, just said you need insulin. My boyfriend wanted to exhaust all options before resorting to insulin. Anyways she said there is nothing i can do then. So she sent through refills and then cancelled every appointment at the last minute. So we are now waiting for a new family doctor. He has since been referred to a diabetic doctor at the local hoapital, and within 6 months his sugar went from out of cobtrol to normal levels. So very clearly this doctor does not know what she is doing or doesnt care. Either way its a.very bad turnout for her patients
