AWESOME!!! I would highly recommend anyone to come to any of the sessions. Its a great work out in a very friendly atmosphere. Wayne is professional, super friendly and all around awesome. Everyone involved with the gym or attending a session are very welcoming and friendly. I joined because the gym just wasn't doing it for me anymore, I needed a change. This was the perfect change. Its a fun, an extremely satisfying exercise and you'll learn some skills. I joined out of the blue, without knowing anyone or knowing anything about Muay Thai, it was the best decision I made in 2018. JOIN

Coastal Union is my favourite! When I moved to the area, I tried all of the local Muay Thai gyms and Coastal was by FAR the best. Wayne & Cass, and everyone in class are so welcoming and motivating, from day one I felt comfortable and I really appreciate the sense of community here.Wayne is a fantastic teacher, he is really down to earth and promotes a culture that is collaborative and fun for everyone training, at all levels. I’ve trained Muay Thai all over the world including in the Netherlands & Singapore and I must say that Wayne is great at not just improving the conditioning of his students but also pays a lot of attention to teaching and improving technique. For me, after moving to BC recently Ive found the entire gym to be very friendly, welcoming with a great teacher and great fellow students. The gym provides a safe and respectful environment to teach the art of eight limbs.

Wayne is a superb instructor! I have about 4 years of martial arts training but the last year I’ve been at coastal union have definitely been the best. I have mainly been doing private lessons with Wayne and I can say without a doubt, it’s some of the best 1 on 1 training you can sign up for. When I signed up for private lessons I was a bit nervous as I had not trained in a while but, Wayne was very good at easing me back into it but at the same time pushing me past my limits. Mentally this was very important to me, I had regained and developed a ton of confidence. When training with Wayne it’s not just about training to learn the martial art of Muay Thai but to become a better person overall. I’m excited to start training again and cannot thank Wayne and the coastal fam enough for everything they’ve done.

I have been training at Coastal Union Muay Thai for over a month now and absolutely love it!! The ENERGY inside is awesome and everyone there is friendly, and without ego. In just over a month I feel like I am getting in amazing shape while learning something new and improving my skills every class. I have also taken a few private classes with Head Instructor Wayne Li and it is definitely worth it. His attention to detail along with his technical knowledge, and ability to communicate that effectively to his students makes him an excellent instructor. If you want to get in great shape, while learning authentic Muay Thai then I highly recommend coming to train at Coastal Union!!!

The quality of each class at Coastal Union is outstanding!The knowledge and value that I have taken from Coastal Union over the past year is tremendous. Wayne Sensei provides clear instructions, guidance and the critiques you will need to hone your overall technique, all the way down to the finer details of Muay Thai.The atmosphere and energy of the classes are top notch and unlike anything I was able to find in the entire Surrey area. The facility is clean, organized and welcoming to both new and experienced fighters!5 stars all around!

Definitely having a blast here at Coastal Union. Everyone there is super friendly and are very welcoming to beginners. Everyone of different skill sets are welcomed there. Everyone is very helpful at Coastal Union and every class is very fun and energetic. Definitely learning a lot more than a previous place I had attended to previously, and it's also a very healthy type of exercise, which helps you boost your stamina and lose weight. Wayne is a great instructor and is very helpful when your having difficulty during class. He is very encouraging and is very welcoming to beginners, where if your not able to do something or don't know how to, you won't be hesitant to ask him. If your interested in learning Muay Thai, whether your a beginner or experienced, I would highly recommend you join Coastal Union.

I cannot express with just words how awesome of a place Coastal Union is. Everything from the atmosphere, to the training, to the people, makes it so you are bound to have a great time when coming here.Each class gives students an opportunity to learn new moves and improve existing techniques. They're also great for staying fit too! And don't worry if you have no experience; the class accommodates beginners and experts alike!I also just want to point out how great the instructor staff is. Wayne-Sensei really does the best job when teaching. He is knowledgeable, driven, and really cares about his students. I remember when I first started, with absolutely zero experience, he helped learn things that I never thought I was capable of.
