Fantastic “full meal deal” experience with Pulse Boot Lab at the Fairmont Banff Springs…no pressure to buy new, only to put you into the best possible boot for your style of skiing…as a ski professional, I live in my boots for many days over the course of the season and Jesse understood my needs and wants in a boot! The custom footbeds are incredible! The custom liners are amazing and Jesse has done the fine tuning and tweaking to achieve near perfection in custom boot fitting! I cannot recommend Pulse and Jesse enough!

I have been to many boot fitters over the past 40 years but Jesse is the best I have met. I got new boots and in 1 visit he had them fitting perfect and pain free which is something I have always had problems with. I always hated getting new boots because it took so long to get them comfortable. Not this time. Jesse was able to punch the problem spot on both boots that I have always been told was not a punchable spot. Very knowledgable and willing to take the time to determine what you need and how to achieve it. No hardsell on anything, in fact I spent less than planned after he said it wasn't necessary. Highly recommended, will be back for new footbeds.

My biggest regret of this season is not discovering Pulse sooner. I've been a snowboarder my entire adult life and recently bought my first pair of ski boots, however my boots immediately started annihilating my ankles. I got assessed at Pulse by Jesse who unfortunately confirmed that my boots are an entire size too big. Jesse spent tons of time with me for free and was an invaluable help on my quest to feel comfortable in ski boots. I recommend anyone and everyone to get their ski boots at Pulse.

Jesse, Dave, and the team at Pulse have been awesome to work with! Although I had some major pain along the way with my problematic feet, they were able to gradually and methodically make adjustments until my boots performed phenomenally and were acceptably comfy at the same time. Despite my many visits and inflexible schedule as an out-of-town customer, they have been super patient and accommodating. I had wandered into their original Revelstoke shop a few years ago and gotten their 3D foot scan/assessment, but am very glad to have pulled the trigger on a boot system at this Banff location!

I booked an appointment with Pulse to help me with my ski boots. They have become much colder and less comfortable over the past few years. Jesse at Pulse suggested that all I needed was new liners as my shells were ok. He did a scan of my feet to determine my size and unfortunately he was out of stock but did a search online and found the ones I needed at a competitor’s store in Canmore. Jesse spent the better half of an hour with me and didn’t charge me a dime or try to up sell me a new pair of boots. Unbelievable! I would highly recommend Pulse and Jesse for the professional and caring environment they foster with only their customers satisfaction in mind.

I read an article in a Blister newsletter that interviewed Kai Palkeinen founder of Pulse Boot Lab. I was impressed with their boot fitting technology and made an appointment at the Banff location. Jesse took an image of my foot and fitted me with the correct size boot based on what I want from a ski boot, performance, warmth, comfort. I had a footbed made and a thinner sock was recommended. Jesse and staff were super helpful and answered all my questions professionally. I have now skied with my new ski boots a few times and I'm impressed with their performance. They are comfortable too. As a 25+ year member of the NSP, I know how important well fitting boots are.

Pulse Boot Lab Banff gave me an honest opinion on my current boots. After the custom foot beds were installed and had the sides punched out, I felt like I was in a whole new boot. I am very pleased with my overall experience.

No matter the issue or request, Pulse finds a way to assist you. Friendly staff that will take the time to do a great job, and make your boots the best they can be. A must for ski professionals and high recommended for visitors to make your ski trip more enjoyable!
