Rena got us checked in and on the road in no time! She was so kind and left no questions un answered. She truly made it an easy and carefree experince!

Save yourself the headache, rent a car anywhere else but at this Thrifty. Showed up for my 1145 reservation after my flight landed at 1145, no one was there at the counter and was unable to get my car. Was stranded in Winnipeg overnight at my own expense.

Call center had different information leaving me stranded and in a tough spot for a week. The call center said deposit was $200 plus expected bill and when I arrived it was $350. Call center said they can't keep up with every store and the store said the call center don't speak for them. I travel monthly will never use thrifty again

I recently rented a vehicle with this location and it was not a good experience. I felt like they are trying to rip you off. Rented a mini-van for 4 days, and I returned it late, fair enough, you pay a penalty for being late and so that was charged. However, when I rented the car initially, I had another driver that would drive the car, so I asked the customer rep whether there is an extra fee for an under age (under 25) driver and he said no it will not be a problem and a $11/day fee would be charged. When I returned the vehicle, they told me that the second driver was under age and they would charge $30/day instead. I was not present for the return, it was another person who handed over the keys. The customer rep then charged another $30/day fee for that person assuming he drove the car too. When after it was all said and done, I asked the manager of the location, what about the fact that your employee said this, the manager simply said that in our policies the rules are stated clearly and you should have read them.This is basically a cash grab. I've also filed a case against this location on BBB regarding these issues. Issue here is because a company has access to your credit card, can they go ahead and charge you without your approval?

Do not rent from Thrifty. Got extra unjustified charges on two separate rental occasions.Check your final bill closely.To get your money back from them takes ages.They promise you refund,but all they hoping is that you will forget about them .Very bad company .

I rented a car from Thrifty on Sept 30, 2021 for one week. I read all the fine print. I was told that if I didn't refuel prior to drop off the fee would be the same as the local gas prices but on the Estimate of Charges" it stated $3.69 per litre. Due to time constraints I had to drop the car of without refueling the tank being between 1/2 to 3/4 full. I then noticed a $100 extra charge on my credit card.AFTER MANY CALLS I WAS TOLD THAT THE REFUELING CHARGE WAS $9.99 US PER LITRE!!! CONVERTING TO APPROXIMATELY $12.50 CAN PER LITRE.! I WAS UNABLE TO RECIEVE A FINAL RECEIPT WITH ALL CHARGES.IT IS ASTONISHING THAT THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS!THIS IS PURE ROBBERY!"

Excellent service!! Loved the customer service very nice people! We arrived in a snow storm, the wonderful people at Thrifty took all the snow off our car for us and heated that new Volkswagen up really nice!!The car looked like a brand new car, very smooth and spacious.

Terrible experience, only one person at the counter and almost 25 people in line. Waited over two hours to get checked into my car. The customer service was terrible, buyer beware rent from somewhere else. Picture was taken, after waiting an hour and a half.

Horrible experience, would rate it lower if I could. First of all, we arrived and the rental agent was asleep at the desk with no mask on and the phone off the hook. We had booked a car online for one price, and were shocked have to pay TRIPLE that original price for the luxury" of having snowtires in Winnipeg in JANUARY during a snowstorm. Snowtires cost an additional $20 for every 24hrs

Terrible service! Had to wait over two hours at the kiosk to get the car. 2 out of 10 kiosks were open. Line up was crazy! Staff your places… especially at the airport!
