Hope Bible Church Markham

A couple recommend this chapel to me a few years ago and I have been meaning to come. My first visit was very enjoyable. They are very welcoming and it was a good service. It is advanced. The parking is free and the location is suitable.

Love this place to worship. The gospel is preached here. But don't just come on Sundays, get plugged into a small group. True Christian life happens together.

This church has solid, Biblical, clear, preaching, and contemporary, vertical (songs about and to God) worship. They are friendly from the greeters at the doors to the greeting at the end of the service. This is the church I attended while at Tyndale, the church I worked at for two years, and the church where I met (and proposed to) my fiancée. Lord willing, I will marry her there as well!If you're looking for a solid church while in the Markham (or surrounding) area, this is the place!

Excellent Awana program for kids between 3 years old and grade 5.The Harvest Kids Check In process is convenient, efficient and enable a safe drop off / pick up environment for the young ones.The volunteers are all friendly and helpful. I trust them with nurturing the spiritual needs of my own child and I have recommended others who have also joined.

Been visiting this Church over a year now and just can’t miss a Sunday! Love the vibe and the preaching here. Witnessed so many baptisms and overall a great place to connect with the word of God. Amen!

Discipleship, discipleship, discipleship!! This is the scripture-based church you want to come if you are serious about believing in Jesus Christ and desire to actively live your life with Him. I went visiting the 9:00am Sunday service. I saw a group of very enthusiastic disciples who are deeply moved to carry and to live out the very heart of Matthew 28:18 in this neighbourhood - very thankful that they are here in Markham!! I guess it all started from James MacDonald’s vision to plant ten churches in ten years back in 1999. A quick check on “harvestbiblefellowship” site, praise God that He have granted this vision much more fruits than it was asked for. The church was originated from Illinois, USA and now it has over 100 churches around the world. Worship experience: I was greeted by three to five friendly people before I walked into the sanctuary to worship. The worship service composed of contemporary worship and a very POWERFUL sermon. It was very hard not to think about my personal relationship with Jesus while listening to the sermon. All preachers are trained and possess the powerful preaching style of James MacDonald. I felt convicted, refreshed and energized after the sermon. The whole church operation was very organized – from greeting the strangers to the worship experience, from listening to the essence of the sermon to picking up your kids. Trust me; you really need your paper tags to pick up your kids!! I praise God for this active church in Markham – now they have two services on Sunday morning and one service on Saturday evening. Amen.

Hope Bible Church Markham is a Bible-believing Jesus-following church with services on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am. Expect bold preaching, lively worship, and a focus on small group discipleship. It's all about Jesus.
