When we were not happy with our current insurance broker anymore, we did some research and made some calls. Thunderbird Insurance Brokers (Kate) took their time and were the first, who explained everything in a way that we were able to follow, understand and make our choices from there. The representatives at Thunderbird Insurance helped me through a tricky out of Province purchase/registration and insurance of a newer used vehicle. They knew way more about the process than other insurance brokers I spoke with (and some ICBC staff), saving me thousands of dollars and valuable time. Every staff person I dealt with was clear, patient and professional. I cannot recommend them enough.

I contacted Chelsea at Thunderbird for help obtaining a new policy on short notice. Chelsea went above and beyond to locate suitable insurance and kept us informed throughout the process which was much appreciated.The broker/brokerage were recommended to me by someone else who had a great experience, and my grandfather also swore by this brokerage for decades. Clearly, there’s a reason for that, and we will be approaching Thunderbird for all our insurance needs in the future. Thanks so much for a great experience from kind and knowledgeable folks. :)

I’m trying to get some basic information about my past insurance policy.After ~30 emails back and forth over a couple of weeks it still hasn’t happened. It seems that no one there will simply read my simple request and they keep putting it back on me to re-explain it.I run a business full time and I don’t have time for this.You are the professionals in this area, it shouldn’t be up to me to put in this much effort.Read the emails, take 10 minutes and solve the problem.

Obviously not interested in my business... I sent one of their staff a direct email after a friend referred me to her. It has been 10 days now and she has not responded... I will seek insurance elsewhere as I will not do business with a company that cannot offer basic customer service.

Ryan at Thunderbird has been helping me and some family members out with insurance for a couple of years. I cannot recommend him any more. Always takes the time to describe the policy to me and help me understand what my coverage and risks are. I've used Thunderbird for home, travel, and extended coverage for strata related costs.

I would not recommend this place. Paid for my renters insurance and was told everything was done and I was good for another year. A few months later I received a letter from the insurance company advising they were cancelling my insurance for non-payment. I followed up with thunderbird and was told they would take care of it. Once again a few month later I received a letter from the insurance company that they cancelled my policy. Avoid this place only interested in take your money.
