We interviewed dozens of contractors as we planned a significant addition and large scale remodel to our nearly one hundred year old Westboro home - and every day that the project continued we became happier and happier with our decision to engage Holland Homes and Renovations. Whether it was the day that live knob and tube wiring was found buried in our walls or the day we learned that a previous renovation had simply decided that minor details like 'header beams' could be ignored as they ripped out walls, the calm confidence of the Holland team kept my wife and I from any number of anxiety attacks. We hired Holland Homes and Renovations for interior renovations in March 2015. We needed to re-configure a floor in our home to add a bedroom and full bathroom.During the estimate phase, owner Robert and his partner Scott listened to our needs and wants and walked us through the possibilities. They provided us with sound recommendations and new suggestions tailored to our requirements and budget, as well as in consideration to the future resale value of our home. Robert also provided recommendations for suppliers and in some cases arranged for discount payments and pickup.During the renovation phase, which lasted one month, Robert visited the site regularly to inspect the work, and to keep us apprised of the next tasks. Robert communicated well, and often, with us and always did what he promised. Emails and phone calls were quickly returned, and we were constantly asked about our level of satisfaction. Any concerns were very promptly addressed. Scott, his crew, and the various subcontractors, were always pleasant and courteous with us, and always patient in answering our questions. In the end, the project was finished on time and on budget. We are completely satisfied with the results.Our overall experience with Holland Homes and Renovations has been very positive.
