I have been with Carolyn’s Model & Talent Agency only for a few months. The whole team welcome you with professionalism and so much support. As someone new in the business I was struggling for a while until I signed with Carolyn’s. Then everything changed. I have been on many auditions for commercials, commercial modelling and TV series. Also she has recommended several educational opportunities to improve my acting career. I would highly recommend this agency.

Scam. They say to watch out for Agencies that will require you to purchase a photoshoot prior to booking anything. This is what they do. I had a photoshoot done by a professional, saved 350$ and they wouldn't accept them. So be warned.

Carolyn’s talent will be happy to sign you up so that you can pay all the fees and they get you to get photos with the photographer next door in the building which is also pricey. What I noticed is they will always get their talent casted, but that’s because they submit many people in this case for me kids for the role and that way it doesn’t matter if you get it they still will make their commission. You are expected to make all your own self tapes and they tell you it’s easy to do, but you need to be good at lighting and video editing etc. Or you won’t get casted. They also provide zero support other than sending messages here and there offering workshops which cost even more money than the contract agreement. When I called them out on the fact they just sign up as much talent as they can for their own best interest, I received an automatic message that my son has been dropped from their roaster before our term has even ended. I would never recommend Carolyn’s talent to anyone and after my experience I’ve realized it’s better to do your own managing if you’re serious about modelling and acting.

Online reviews and recommendations helped us choose an agent recently so I’m posting this...Everybody we’ve met and interacted with at this agency has been warm and kind and encouraging.We didn’t have any professional photos and we were given the choice to use a photographer they recommended or our own pics (we ended up going with the recommended photographer and the pics are really nice, no regrets).Being new to all of this I’ve called and emailed with questions and they are always understanding and responsive.In the short time (maybe two months) she’s been doing this our daughter has already been notified of a booking for a small part in a tv show. When there was a last minute issue the agent was available and got answers, emailing us well into the night. I was really impressed with the agent’s work.So far we as parents are happy and our daughter is happy and feels comfortable with this agency. It’s fun for her and costs a lot less than most of the other after-school activities she’s been enrolled in.

Worst experience. Find a real agency. Save your money. Trust me. I worked with them years ago and it still burns my soul that I gave so much of myself to them.Just to edit this because they replied and made it sound like I expected the world to fall at my feet, insinuating that I'm entitled.I got a real agent, did not require me to pay a cent, I get auditions every week, sometimes more than once a week, she also points my attention to workshops to help me better my skills.I'm not saying Carolyn's is a scam...but I hope you find better for yourself, whoever reads this.

February 13th, 2013 I paid a $300 registration fee for my baby girl aged 6 months to join the agency, plus an additional mandatory monthly fee to 800casting.I was assured that I could expect many Spring auditions and that all I had to do was keep her 800casting profile updated with measurements and photos.After an entire year plus one month my daughter was NEVER invited for a single audition. When I wrote to Carolyn about my frustration I was sent a copy of some" of the auditions she was submitted for but was rebuffed with "in the end it's the client's decision."Carolyn never introduced herself personally at the Open Call instead her representative told a group of twenty parents

For anyone trying to model, I do not recommend this place. The fees here are outrageous. Once my contract ended in 2019, I signed with legitimate agencies and haven’t had to pay ANYTHING upfront, including photos to start my portfolio. A real agency will only take their commission once YOU get paid, and they will have a test shoot for you for free, that’s the standard in the industry.I have not included my real last name in this review.
