Come to La Fenice for some diet food; I recommend the Veal chop. You will expend more calories trying to cut it and chew it than you'll consume. Mine was supposed to be med rare, was rare. Unbelievably tough. I didn't send it back as we had theatre tickets. I forced myself to eat about a third, and it was just tasteless meat. The waiter sort of apologized, but then didn't offer to at least reduce the $61 price. My wife loved her fish. Dessert was excellent. I won't be back though.

Waited way too long for our food on a theater night left all of us feeling anxious. My heart sank when they brought one of us four the wrong order .. sure enough, everyone had finished eating when they brought him the correct dish. Second time dining here. High prices, small portions. Theatre district restos coast knowing they fill up without trying always. Huge disappointment overall. Not sure I’ll be back in any hurry. Sigh.

We had an amazing experience for my friend’s birthday. Service was extraordinary, staff are super friendly, they went above and beyond with the attention to detail. The food blew my mind, I order the spicy shrimp linguini and my partner the seafood pasta, so delicious!! You must try the grilled squid and shrimp, we had it as started dish and it was so fresh and juicy. We will definitely be coming back. My friends had pizza, risotto and the portobello dish and they spoke very highly about them. Prices are fare and atmosphere is very chill and romantic. You also must take a moment to speak with the restaurant’s manager, he is the kind of personality you immediately want to be friend with. I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, go and try it for yourself your won’t be disappointed.

Great dinner with great service. Expect to pay, but you’ll get what you pay for. Top notch food and service was nice. The spicy sautéed squid was excellent! Would highly recommend (and it wasn’t that spicy in case you’re not very spice tolerant)

Great service. Fresh traditional Italian cuisine. A few things not on the small menu you might want to ask about. Very classic and intimate decor, classical piano music playing, and perfect lighting for a romantic experience. Not a bad wine list, too.

La Fenice has been on my “To-Eat” list for a long time. I was able to visit with a group of friends recently, and am pleased to report that it lives up to the hype (for the most part).The restaurant itself isn’t very large but is nicely decorated (the dim lighting means photography is a little affected). The service is good (it’s on the more formal side).The food is very good. The veal rib was the highlight of our meal. What a great restaurant, in every way. The menu is excellent, offering dishes for everyone. We opted for the Salmon and the New York Sirloin, and both were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. We started with the grillerd Shrimp and it was incredible. Beyond the wonderful food, the service here is top notch. Our servers were as good as any diner could hope for. Good service is difficult to find these days, but at La Fenice one can be confident that the service is superior. In addition to the delicious food and first class service, La Fenice has a fantastic ambience, just very warm and enjotable. Can't recommend this place enough. Would visit again without hesitation.

We came in late and had a wonderful and filling meal. The veal melted in my mouth and the pasta reminded me of my mother's homemade. Simply wonderful! The staff was very friendly and welcoming

Had a great dinner here and would recommend! The team here was very accommodating to our large group and had a great ambiance at the restaurant. We tried many of the seafood dishes (++fresh) and all were great. In particular, the mixed seafood with risotto was delicious. I tried my friend's gnocchi dish which was amazing as well. Will hopefully get to try this place again in the future!
