Nella, the owner is absolutely incredible. Once you meet her, you instantly love her vibe. The shop is clean and beautiful with lots of high quality makers and tons of selection to choose from. They also have a beautiful patio, workshop and markets!As a maker, Nella is generous and really cares for her makers. She makes you feel important and part of a beautiful maker family. She goes above and beyond and has made my experience with her positive in every way - which has not been the case for me with other maker shops in town. I highly recommend Unique for all makers.As a customer, the shop is extremely friendly and welcoming. The staff are always extremely helpful and the prices are extremely fair for high quality, local handmade goods.I can not think of one single thing they could improve on. They are excelling at every aspect of their business.

Love the friendly team here at UTB! They make you feel so welcomed the moment you step into the cute, cozy boutique store :) A must visit when you're in the Durham region. A MUST VISIT Artisan Market! Love the selection of unique hand-crafted items by more than 70 makers. Love that you can shop in person or online.Beautiful historic setting, friendliest staff around! And their Rewards Program is an extra bonus.So easy to shop from their Gift Registry for weddings, baby showers, any special celebration.I even set up my own registry so family and friends can shop local when buying for me!
