nice park in arnprior. there is kinda beach area for kids to play in sand and swings and all kind of kids friendly. nice huge trees and ppl with family come for picnic and enjoy games etc. no entry fee. parking is free. and washroom facilities available.

We’ve been living in Ottawa for the last 5 years and this is our first time visiting Robert Simpson Park. We will certainly come back! It’s a very nice spot for families. The beach and swimming area are pretty small but it didn’t bother us since it’s not too crowded. The swimming area is pretty shallow which was perfect for my beginner swimmer.You can also get settle in the upper area where the park is. There is tones of space, a lot of shade, benches and picnic tables. There are also toilets and a place to buy food and treats.The only downside is that the parking lot is a little small but you can park a little up the road, behind the hospital. 100% recommend!

It was nice park with a view of the river. A little beach is also there and a swimming area guarded with life guards. There is a walking path for someone to take a stroll and enjoy the river view. They also have a little play area for the munchkins. Overall a nice place to visit with your family and loved ones.

Summer park tour continues as we travelled to The Valley to check out the beach in Arnprior. Bathrooms and canteen open. Large grass area. Plenty of picnic tables. Beach has a bit of rocky action going on but I didn’t hear any complaining. Solid spot, worth the drive.

Located on the bank of the river Ottawa. We visited during winter and was able to see the river was frozen. Kids enjoyed sliding down the small slope.

Great place to bring young children to play. Open fields for running and picnics. Playground and a beautiful beach

Can't really rate the park as it was winter.Had a nice gazebo overlooking the water, a playground, and a large open space for running around. Great views across the Ottawa River. Small parking lot that I was in, may be others. Main park is elevated above the small beach by a rather high (25 ft.?)cliff face, with stairs running down.
