Do not send your children to this daycare. Within the first week that I sent my daughter here, she came home with half of her front tooth missing. The incident happened at 9:20am and not one of her caregivers noticed the entire day. Another incident occurred when I dropped my daughter off and she came running after me, one of the staff members grabbed her by her hood causing her neck to crank backwards and her to fall. Each time I reach out to management with concerns about the quality of care my child is receiving and the level of experience/competency of their employees, I am met with a cold response. Most recently I reached out because I was upset by the fact that one of the people responsible for caring for my daughter didn’t even know her name. I was also upset that when they handed her to me at pickup she had a bowel movement in her diaper that had clearly been left unnoticed for quite some time due to the angry rash. The response I received from the Executive Director of the program was an insincere apology, generic solutions (that should be standard practice at any child care facility), and that they would support me if I decided to transition my child to another child care center. If only it were that easy to find child care options in Kingston. With such a high employee turnover rate at Kingston Day Care, children are not able to feel secure and form trusting relationships with their caregivers, as they are constantly changing. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend this daycare.

Both of my boys attend this daycare. They have done so for over a year. I have never seen anything but a positive environment filled with love and support. The staff are wonderful people. I feel so thankful to have them watching over my boys and nourishing their young minds.

The staff turnover speaks volumes.

My daughter has attended this daycare for 7 months now and in that time, I can't count the number of new employees I have seen working in her room. Drop offs continue to be a challenge because it is difficult for her to feel safe when she is constantly being handed over to new faces. We have also encountered several incidents that I believe to be caused by lack of care and attention. This daycare may have had a good reputation in the past, but I wouldn't recommend it in the state it is in today.

I have had all 4 of my children attend the infant, toddler and preschool programs at St. Martha Child Care Centre and have nothing but great things to say about it. I’ve felt so strongly about the positive experience that my family has had, that I’ve volunteered as a member of its Board of Directors for several years and currently chair it.The staff (including management), have always taken great care and pride, in providing both a nurturing and safe environment for all of them.The oldest three have entered Kindergarten as kind, curious, well-adjusted little individuals and I have no doubt that my youngest will do exactly the same, this coming fall.

Both of my son's (now 7 and 4) have attended St. Martha's from the age of 1 until the time they entered kindergarten. My oldest has attended summer camps at St. Martha's and we plan to have our youngest attend this summer. He can't wait to go back to his old school".Our experience with the staff has been excellent. They take a vested interest in the kids and find endless ways to nurture their interests and hobbies. The boys both entered kindergarten with the skills they needed to succeed.Marcelina

I have nothing but fabulous things to say about this daycare. We have two boys who have been here over a year, in infant then toddler and preschool programs and I have always been very impressed. Our little one is sensitive and within 3 days he happily was running in the front door. They do so many messy arts and crafts and get lots of outdoor time. Staff are friendly and my kids genuinely like them. I feel that my kids are getting love and attention throughout the day. Highly recommend
