We had lots of fun, parking can get a little hectic so I suggest getting there early. You are able to bring picnic things like a small propane grill for hotdogs or burgers, bring some shade and sunscreen! If not they have a concession stand that sells burgers and hotdogs, ice cream, pop and water. They also provide tubes to go down the lazy river, a change area/washrooms and a place to rinse off. Definitely coming back here again with the whole family.

Fun activity for families. The water is shallow, I'd say around knee level on the bottom so it's safe for kids. There's a place where you can rent the tube. It was $6 per tube and you cal also order snacks there.

It's fun for kids. But the design is not as handy as river flowing. They need staffs and actually volunteers to help people who stuck in the middle of the river. At peak hours there is long line up , need to wait for over 10 mins to get on the water every run.

It's a wonderful place for a family. The sand is soft and the water at most is 3 feet deep. You can bring your own tunes or rent for $6.00 a person.

The place is so clean and beautiful! You can have picnic. While your kids is having fun swimming and riding in the blue tube in their lazy river! Kids loves it! And if you don't wanna be wet there is a big playground for your little one to play. We live in Calgary and this is a worth to drive! Will definitely coming back to this place! Highly recommended for Families or with friends :)

5 star experience in Alberta! (Since there are a lot of reviews I’ll focus on the useful). It’s a man-man river using the actual Battle River as a water source. The kids pay $6 for a wristband which let them use the tubes. They go up a path where there is a miniature waterfall connected to a small pool. Once you get on your tube it’s a few minutes until you reach the bottom of the river which opens up onto a small and shallow man-made lake with a beach. Your kids can build sandcastles at the beach, swim, go down the river, picnic on the grass, play at the really fantastic playground or eat at the concession. It’s a whole half day experience.Adults can also go, I went with my toddler, and weigh 130 lbs plus his 25 lbs, but bottomed out at a few places. Anyone much heavier might have a hard time not getting stuck since it’s very shallow.I went on a Thursday at supper time when it was warm. It was not crowded but it was busy. I don’t think I would go on a weekend as it was already busy on an off-day. The wait times would be too long to enjoy much.Great prices and a fun experience!

This is always a fun place to visit. I was able to find a shady spot to hunker down while my son was in the water. It was $6 for him to ride the tube thing for the whole afternoon. There's lots of staff available if anything is needed. There's a newer park for some fun outside the water for the kids. There's also 2 beach areas with sand.

Beautiful place. $6.00 for rentals per person ( all people renting must be there when paying for your rentals) BUT I'm a bit disappointed that there is restrictions on bringing your own tubes but no information was on the websites or even posted in the area informing you of this. You can bring your own tubes but they can not be meshed bottoms (must be able to pass through with ease) and they must be plain Jane tubes so no backing, strings, extended designs like a mermaid tail or double tubes. They also have size restrictions.Make sure to bring a hat, sun screen, water and chairs or blanket to sit on. There is a consession like most, on the expensive side. Overall, its pretty good and we will come back with different tubes. For now, we will use our mesh bottoms as seats and footrests.
