An excellent hiking trail with a natural river and waterfall. If you like to walk with nature you definitely love that. The entrance fee is $4.46. Now working only on weekends 10:30 to 5 pm. July and August open that for daily.

Such a wonderful place to visit. We come here 2-3 times a year at least. My kids LOVE playing here, swimming in the waterfall, finding fossils, etc. Lots of stairs so prepare to climb. Picnic areas with charcoal bbqs available. Lots of parking. Bathrooms are clean. The museum is full of history of the area. The people working the gate are always very kind. Nice little play area for the kids with swings and slide. Very busy in the summer! Much more enjoyable other times of the year

It is definitely a very different place from the one seen in photos, the waterfall, despite being a beautiful place, is not to enjoy the water, since it was very dirty and clayey. if you go early enough to explore this place you might find something good. It was definitely not a place for us and our visit

Nice scenic walk. The river and waterfall were beautiful. Good vibes, interesting fossils abundant... hike wasnt long, dont let the distance fool you tho, lots of stairs. People with mobility issues probably wont be able to access lower gorge. People with decent mobility will quite enjoy the bounty.

Trail was good. Lot of stairs, so be prepared. My puppy loved running up and down the stairs and also played in the water. Though water was not very clean, it was worth the stop here.

This is a nice little conservation area, with a waterfall, gorge, and a museum with an impressive collection of fossils, minerals and historical artifacts. Definitely check out the waterfall and museum. The trail around the gorge is enjoyable, though note that there is a lot of stairs to climb down into the gorge and back up, and views into the gorge are always obstructed by trees. Down at the bottom you can walk to the Ausable River. Many people also wade a bit downstream from the falls along the creek. You may want to visit when there has been some recent rain, because otherwise the creek can be very dry, with the waterfall only being a trickle.

Such a beautiful little waterfall in the middle of no where. (Pretty much) you can swim here in hot days just be careful because the rocks are slippery. The river is also nice and you can find some pretty cool fossils in the rocks if you look hard enough. Great place to have a picnic and enjoy a nice warm day. The do have bathrooms and picnic tables.

Not much distance to cover for hiking, but a beautiful (and rare) deep southwestern Ontario waterfall located in a well kept conservation area. Excellent museum with a self guided tour covering all the fossils that have been found and can still be found in the creek bed, as well as the history of the area. Excellent viewing platforms and easy access to the base of the falls. Some folks do go swimming in the plunge pool at the base of the falls but I would not recommend it as it is mostly agricultural run off and has higher bacteria levels. The flow of the waterfall does slow down considerably in the summer, so it is best to visit it in the spring or after a big rainfall.
