EF Go Ahead Tours

We have traveled with EF Tours on two different trips one to Italy and Greece and Spain. The hotels and sights seeing were amazing. The tour leader and tour guides were amazing.

It was excellent tour. Well organized and excellent chice of places to visit. Also, the tour leader Maria was all the time with us giving advices and leading the tour very wisely and with great love to all members of the trip

Did the London-Paris tour. Great tour guides and itinerary. Diana our main guide did a great job keeping us entertained and safe. Would give more stars but accommodations did not meet my expectations given price. One hotel was a holiday inn(London). Direct flight there but back home connecting. For the same price I could have purchased direct flights both ways.

BUYER BEWARE!!! While the tour (and tour director) itself was great, the Canadian support team is awful to deal with. The trip I went on had a small number of travellers, so a number of excursions I had paid for months before the trip were cancelled. I have been back from the tour for about 5 weeks and have not received a refund for those cancelled excursions. The support team admits they owe me the money but just will not process the refund. I was the only Canadian on the trip, so they are not overburdened with refunds to process from this trip. I also had a lot of trouble with the support team prior to the trip but that is covered in a separate review.

Kenya and its people were great. I saw every animal small and large I had hoped to see. My guide/driver was exceptionally well informed. The balloon ride over the Savana was breath-taking. The accommodations in the middle of nowhere were pretty good given we were in protected areas. Wonderful trip and memories for a lifetime.

We took the tour to spain ( Barcelona, madrid, cordoba and seville).It was marvelous , every thing was very well organized in our trip.Our tour guide Maria was amazing , she went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoy our trip to the maximum and to see all the phenomenal places in each city we visit.She also would guide us if we want to go to any place on our free day, also, the good restaurants , how to reach any place without any trouble.Thank you Ef tours for this amazing trip and thank you Maria.

The Dublin-Cork-Galway tour was a great way to get a taste of Ireland. It'll leave you wanting more! I recommend taking the side excursions. These are hidden gems you might not normally see.One caveat about this tour; there are no accessible bathrooms on the bus. Our driver was adamant that the toilet located under the stairs be used only in an extreme emergency and that he would need to stop the bus in order to do so. Those with health concerns or mobility issues should be aware of this and it should be stated right at the beginning.Otherwise, although rushed (there could have been more time devoted to Dublin), the tour was enjoyable and informative for first-timers to Ireland.

I had the time of my life on The Grand Tour Italy! ALL the other travellers on the tour were amazing, we all got along and shared a lifetime of experiences in two short weeks. It was a very fast paced tour but I knew that going in. I would book something a little slower paced next time. Our tour director Chiara was perfecto! She is upbeat, fun, knowledgeable and kept all of us safe and happy at all times. We all just loved her and I would love to do a tour with her again! Luciano, our driver is probably the best driver I have ever seen, maneuvering us around those tight corners like a pro! I travelled solo and never felt excluded or alone (unless I wanted to be) I met so many incredible people, some friends for life! Italy is my favorite place in the world that I have been to so far! There were some downsides for me and two of those were nature's call. Our time in Venice was unfortunately during a torrential downpour! We tried to keep a positive attitude but we were all drowned rats by the end of the day. Capri was cancelled because of bad weather as well and I was disappointed but again unavoidable and Chiara handled it very professionally.. The dinners provided by the tour were hit and miss for me...mostly miss. Considering Italian food us my favorite, I was disappointed in some of the hotels food and service. Although the hotels themselves were good (some even amazing!) The long haul flights and connecting flights were so close together they left no time for delays. I almost missed my connection there and it was very stressful! The flights were not shown in the app until the last min and not fully paid to the airline (even though I had paid months ahead for them). This made good seat selection and flight changes impossible. EF could definitely improve here but I still felt the Tour itself deserved 5 stars! I will be using and recommending EF Tours again and if you are lucky enough to get Chiara and Luciano., you struck gold!

Have one more day left on Canadian Rockies tour with tour guide Robert. He is absolutely amazing. Knows the area well and his enthusiasm is contagious. He was so well organized and the entire trip except for the Rocky mountaineer which he was not responsible for was amazing. The train trip is amazing but is several hours each day too long. Our last two hours we traveled about one mile. First day on train over 13 hours. Apparently freight trains have president over tourist and several hours were wasted giving them the right of way. We were in Vancouver at 4 pm but weren’t able to get off the train until 6:45pn. This is after our first day when we didn’t get off till after 8pm.In spite of this our tour was fantastic, saw a lot, had just enough free time and were given great advice by Robert M.We will definitely use EF Go ahead tours again. Heard from others that have done several tours that all the tour guides are terrific but I find it hard to believe that anyone could do anything better than Robert did for this tour.

We booked this trip to Australia and New Zealand with GoAhead 4 years ago and it was postponed" 3 times due to Covid. We finally travelled there May 1-22
