This school is amazing I went here for 2 years and I had an amazing time. The teachers were excellent and the work load was extremely accommodating for a high school student. David also had a really welcoming Muslim community which I’m very grateful for as not a lot of high schools in Brampton do. I highly recommend this high school as I’ve went to 2 other high schools in that area and if I could go back I would go David for all 4 years.

I went to this school from 2014 - 2018. It was alright, it really depends on the teachers you get. Some teachers were fun and interesting, while some were boring or annoying. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed most of it. I was actually new to Canada when I came to this school and the people over here were pretty welcoming.I would actually give it a 3.5, but because google doesn't do that I will round it up to 4 stars.

This is one of the best high schools in the whole Brampton that provides a lots of help for new comers and all other students. It has wheelchair accessible parkings and entrances. It has many Optional credits for graduation including International Languages, Arts, Tech related Credits, Dance, Music and many more including the mandatory credits. The school has a very good and Supportive staff.

much fun had great timez, learned how to school stuff. did not like people, they were not hip enough but I appreciate the effort the teachers put into trying to teach. if I could to go to high school again, I probably wouldn't, but I would probably choose this school. much love and joy experience shared, very racist people, mean kids, and unsanitary hair on the toilets were all the reasons I loved to leave school.

I have used their facilities over the weekends and they are new and clean. Very well designed; relatively new PDSB school. Plenty of parking spots. You could also use the parking in the park south of the school. I am not sure how good the school in terms of education/quality though.

When I went from grade 8 to grade 9 at David suzuki secondary school they didn't want to accept me, because I was known as a problem child. The only way they would accept me was if I took all locally developed and had an attendance tracker. So my first year I was in locally developed and stuck in classes with people in the same situation as me. I later found out that year I can't go to college with locally developed classes. So I had to backtrack and repeat some classes in order to get to the academic level for college and graduate at the same time as my peers. Do you know how shameful it feels being in a class a grade younger, everyone thinking you failed when you're just tryna better yourself. In the end I got accepted to the number one college of my choice and completed all three years while living on my own in Ottawa. As I look back, I'm the only one that I know of who was in that situation that went and completed post secondary. As I stood up for myself and didn't let the school hold me back. So if it was up for David suzuki, I probably wouldn't have a college diploma and would've been thrown to the real world with no credentials to be successful due to the environment they had me in. I loved high school, I used to visit all the time for the teachers, but majority are gone. As most teachers were great, i'll never forget how the office almost prevented me from being where I am today, to think if I went their way my life would've been worse. If you're reading this David suzuki, it's De Quan Wynter and you were in fact wrong as I begin to set off on my new journey to Australia for a year in September. So despite what you thought of myself in the future, you were by far wrong and should never treat anyone like that again. There's probably many students who were placed on the same path as I without the courage to stand up for themselves who you probably set back instead of helped, so keep that in mind next time you think someone should do locally developed classes and lose their chances of post secondary.I just want to say a big thank you to Mrs. Bown, the lovely River room ladies, Mrs. Nazir, Mr. Wilson Mrs. Chen, Ms. Yaworski, Ms Roy, Mrs Martin, Mr Doret, many more amazing teachers that was there for me to talk to and help build me up, thanks for making David Suzuki great! To Mr. Lompart and Ms Grey... You were most certainly wrong.
