Had a great experience in the backcountry. We took the snowmobiles in to the goods and were riding within 20 mins of breakfast! Skied all morning and had a boil up for lunch! Great time with great people!

The experience we had with Ryan at Mantle Core Riders cannot be conveyed with words, but I will try! You have to experience it for yourself. The skiing was beyond anything I've ever experienced, from steep trees and gentle bowls to huge alpine lines. There is something for everyone, terrain wise. Now let's talk about the owner, Ryan: the epitome of positivity. There were a couple days in our trip where we didn't *need* him to sled us into a zone (close to the road), but we *wanted* him there. He's always pointing things out and telling the history of why things are they way they are. His expert knowledge of the area is something that is extremely helpful when choosing your daily objectives. We absolutely LOVED HIM! He also created some really fun videos for us to look back on forever to remember this experience forever. THANK YOU RYAN!

I visited the Mantle Board Shoppe over the holidays. Great service and great gear! Got some nice merch as well as some quality new backcountry safety gear. Can't wait to get back and do some riding when there is snow!

Had a great weekend of ski touring with Ryan in the Barters Ridge area. Explored deep powder and the steep trees of the zone! Also purchased a great pair of G3 Carbon poles from the shoppe and were a game changer. Great source of high quality equipment in Newfoundland, highly recommend the Ski Gros Morne guide book if you plan on exploring the area.

Just finished 8 days in Woody Point with Ryan Crocker. In 50 years of backcountry skiing, I never even imagined a place with so many miles of bowls, slopes, and chutes - all within 2500 feet of sea level. If you want alpine, or trees, all with beautiful views to the ocean and in a truly unique geology, this is the place and Ryan's the guy who can make it available for a wide range of skier abilities.Don't believe what you might have read about limited snow - when you know where to look, we found plenty in a light snow year.Can't wait to go back!
