I met Chris Weatherhead in 2010 when he came to look at three Ash trees that were on the property of a company I worked for at the time. It was long before I was aware of Ash borers and I was hoping the trees could be saved. He was honest and told me he'd be happy to treat them repeatedly and maybe keep them alive for a while longer but that they would ultimately die. His quote and service for removing them were great and Weatherhead Group have been doing work for me and my family ever since. His crew work fast and safely, bring the right equipment for the job. It's comforting when a company sends the same staff year after year - I don't feel the need to stay home and watch over them.My father passed away last year and we recently had a tree cut down on his property. That tree held a lot of family memories for us and I asked him to cut and set aside some pieces I'd like to dry out and work with in the future. He was happy to take the extra time for that.I also like that they now send out satisfaction survey after completing the job.Thanks again!

I have used The Weatherhead Group for tree service several times and will continue to do so. Most recently it was to have an aging and unruly large shrub/tree removed from our front garden (including stump removal). They also helped in the past with a very large fir tree that came down in a storm, along with general pruning and tree maintenance. Not only are they responsive and competitively priced, the work they do is very good and they never leave a mess. Great friendly workers as well. Definitely recommended.

We’ve used Chris and his team for a number of years to keep our (30 plus year old) cedar hedges healthy and pruned properly as well as our other trees and landscaping. I know I can count on them each year for their expert maintenance, quick thorough cleanup and removal, and suggestions for any issues that unexpectedly arise. I want to thank Chris this year in particular as we needed their services quickly, and unexpectedly and he was able to get his team out in response to our request, not an easy thing to do during a busy time. Weatherhead were recommended to me by a neighbour who is in the real estate business and knows people's reputation. From my experience, Weatherhead's service was fantastic. Right from the estimating with Chris, to the scheduling and coordination with Frederic. They helped me through the permit process and handled a lot of the back end work with the city. When it came to the actual tree and stump removal, the team on the ground was courteous, considerate of my neighbour's property and professional. These people are pros and know what they're doing.

I worked at weatherheadTree for about a year. The employees are great to work with it’s a good company to start out at if you’re looking to become an arborist and learn the basics of ground work.

I hired the Weatherhead Tree company to remove a large maple tree in between my house and my neighbours. It was a large tree and to say the job was challenging was an understatement. The process went as smooth as I could have imagined. The permit application was smooth. The removal and stumping was careful and professional. I’m glad I put my trust in the Weatherhead group.

This is the 2nd time I've had Chris back to guide me in what needed to be done and give a fair quote. The previous time was 7 years prior and they also did great work.This time, we did a full removal of a tree that was too close to the house and was damaging the foundation and the Weatherhead Group guided me through the permits process. They also did maintenance pruning and removed the dead wood on our largest tree. It was great watching Frederic and others climbing up in the tree, working their acrobatic magic. The trees look great and look much healthier.
