excellent selection (had to even ask if it was all vintage as the store was so clean and organized), the items are in very good condition and theres a blanaced selection of office/street/boho/jewlery/shoes and more! Appriciated Sheri assisting me throughout selecting items & trying on, all without pushing me to purchase! in love with my new boots, will return & reccomend

Nice selection of clothing but owner (lady with Grey hair?) acts really strange when browsing - read someone else had the same experience - not sure if it’s profiling or if she just wants u in and out of the store as quick as possible

Owner is rude. Called my friend fat and snatched a $300 jacket out of my hands that I wanted to buy after searching for one similar for months. Will never be going back or recommending this place to anyone

Super disappointed over what happened today when the owner with the gray hair began questioning me about what I was doing in her store before, when I've been to Hi numerous previous times. When I told her I was just looking, she said I was acting suspicious in the corner. Perhaps she forgot that she put a mirror in the corner...? I think I'm allowed to hold up a top to myself in the mirror before I buy it.I was incredibly shocked at how she treated me and just can't believe how demeaning her behavior was, when I had done nothing wrong.Customer service (just being a kind human being?) definitely needs to be worked on here. I'd recommend skipping out on this one and just going to the other thrift stores nearby.

Shop owner is so rude. I was waiting for a fitting room and moments after I step in I’m curtly told to hurry up as others are waiting. She snatched the clothes out of my hand when I stepped out of the fitting room and sarcastically thanked us on our way out. Spoken with several friends and businesses in the area and there is a clear pattern of behavior and reputation that this store owner has curated. Your store offers nothing special to any other retailer on the street. Fix your attitude, it’s busy is a stupid excuse for one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city.

Tried on some pants that were really nice but the zipper was broken. The person working said it was because I didn’t fit them and they were too small…when they actually fit me perfectly. Also before I tried them on she asked the size of the pants I was trying on and then said “yeah they might fit you”. Just soooo rude and fatphobic.

Absolutely love this store!! Hi has the cutest selection of vintage/second hand clothing. She also carries beautiful silver jewelry that she hand picks in Mexico. Her prices are great and the selection is unmatched. A gem in Kensington!
