Bridge Port Veterinary Clinic

I had a dog that needed to see a vet. The clinic I have gone to in the past has no vet at the present time. I called a few others and since I wasn't a client they wouldn't see my dog.. Bridgeport said they would see her as an emergency . I found this clinic to be clean and the vet was awesome. He knew right off what was wrong and confirmed it with a blood test..He was very thorough. I recommend this vet service. I am going back in 30 days for a follow up visit..

Recently took my dog to get neutered here. Very transparent and courteous. Even called the next day to see how my dog was doing.

Saved my dog. My 11 y/o dog had been throwing up and not eating. Bridge port was the only vet around the area who was willing to look at her. He ran blood tests which showed she was suffering from kidney disease. The doctor gave me all the tools to bring her back to good health. Forever grateful for helping my pup before it was too late.

I was referred here by a friend for my 4 month old puppy. I arrived around 4:10 pm, for my 4:15 pm appointment. The waiting area was packed solid, with appointments, and people waiting to pick their animals up. We chose to drive 45 minutes to this clinic, then we waited almost an hour and a half to be seen; even with an appointment! I do understand being busy, but over an hour wait?! Other than that, the rest was a pleasant experience. We were seen by the veterinarian, and in and out in less than 10 minutes. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I will add, I ended up paying for an ear treatment for my puppy that I didn’t know I needed, and wasn’t told about prior to it happening. I would recommend choosing this Dr for your animals’ well-being! The price of an initial visit, and first ever shots, with an ear rinse treatment for my 4 month, 32 lb puppy was $112, just so you have an idea of what to expect.

Nice and knowledgeable doctor, friendly and efficient staff, reasonable charges. The wait time was 30 minutes with an appointment, I had to book it a week in advance

Dr. Cruikshank is so kind and I’m so grateful for him. I brought my cat Lucy in a few weeks ago due to blood in her urine. I had never been there before but he was happy to see us the same day, when every vet in the county (including her usual vet) declined to get her in. He did blood work and urinalysis and found an infection that her usual vet hadn’t tested for when I brought her in for similar issues a few weeks prior. I highly recommend this Vet. You get quality care and the staff and doctor are all so nice and welcoming.

The Dr. And techs were very kind and compassionate, when I had to make the decision to have my Ivy put to sleep. He also sedated Ivy as I had asked to make her transition easier. Was very important to me. Thank you for all you did for my dog

Still owed my bill from my last visit that was well over 400 bucks for x-rays and some blood work and tried picking up more medication that my dogs rely on to basically live and they wouldn't give him more meds until I paid my balance. Being a father of teenagers and the only one working I was trying to pay it but to risk an animals life who is a family member is ridiculous. The service besides how they operate is fine considering.

This was our first visit to Bridge Port Vet Clinic and everyone was simply great. You can tell they all take pride in their jobs and most importantly, love animals.

My dog katie is.very hyper and not easy to deal with. I have taken her to another vet without a lot of success.Bridge Port was excellent with her and I was happy that I took her there.I also noticed it was a very busy office and that is a good sign!!!!
